Charging for wifi is simply bad service. Especially, when it is unstable and weak. The location is not that close to the city centre - less so, than the description on the site indicates. The beds are really good thugh.

Noisy and with a not very good breakfast. Location is great though, and the price was very decent.

Very good place with a friendly atmosphere and a good breakfast. Bring ear plugs though, since the walls are very thin.

Hotel Estoril Porto

Our room was small and basic but alright; pretty clean and not too hot. The location was alright - close to some nice bars, although the walk from the city centre was a bit long. The staff did not speak English, and were not overwhelmingly friendly. 40 euros for a double room seemed to be a bit more than the average price for a room in Porto - at least we found better prices in better locations later on.

This was not Hotel Medusa, but it's terrible neighbour Hostel Mr. Beem. Make sure they don't send you there. One staff member only spoke berber. It was virtually impossible to communicate with him. Silly idea for him to work in the hotel business. Generally they seemed to had no idea what was going on - we were asked to change rooms twice in three days. Finally they were judgemental (you shouldn't go to bed late, drink or smoke) and upheld a dreary atmosphe
