Very nice riad. The rooms were terrific, and the central courtyard was nice. However, I was hoping for the riad and the staff to feel a little more homely (just like the riads that we stayed at in Meknes and Chefchaouen, also booked using Hostelworld). Verus definitely had more of a hostel/hotel/business feel to it. The breakfasts were delicious, and the guided tour excursion through the medina is a must!

Great riad with a lot of character. The rooms were a bit small, but we didn't mind. The rooftop patio area was a terrific surprise, and the views were gorgeous. We only stayed here 1 night (because we were only in Chefchaouen for 1 day), but wished we stayed here longer. Joe, the manager, was a cool character, and we enjoyed his company.

Riad Zahraa was the perfect place to stay at the start of our Morocco trip. Abdul and his family were the most welcoming and kind hosts a tourist could ask for. The location of the riad was a bit confusing to get to at first, but after a couple times navigating the medina, we were easily able to find our way. It's a hidden jewel in the heart of the Meknes. And the rooftop view of the city is AMAZING! I highly recommend this riad. By the way, their breakfast and dinners are also delicious!
