Great hostel with friendly staff and good location between the train/bus station and the city centre. Dorms are very nice with the bonus of a privacy curtain and reading light for each bed
Great hostel and Joko the owner makes you feel very welcome and goes out of his way to help you. What this man doesn't know about bus times and football isn't worth knowing. Great view of the lake from the balcony and only 2 mins to the main shopping area and 5 mins to the nearest beach. Highly recommend!
8th floor location is fantastic, great place to drink a beer/raki and watch the sunset. Gabriel the owner and the staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you. Very easy to meet other travellers. Slightly further from the town than the other hostels but worth it for the view. Pancake breakfast is excellent. Handy shop below also with bike hire. If the man from the other hostel meets you at the bus station/in the street and tells you bad things about HL, ignore him - it's all lies!
I think this is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Only a short walk from the centre, great breakfast including fruit. Great chill out area in the garden. View from the upstairs terrace of castle, river and old bridge. Comfy beds and Scott the owner, and the other staff are very friendly and helpful. Daily dinner option is also a bonus if you don't want to go into town to eat and is reasonably priced. I thoroughly recommend this hostel.
Located just outside the old town walls (but only a two minute walk to the main gate) and better value than the hostels in the old town. Neno the owner makes you feel very welcome and has all the information that you could possibly need about Dubrovnik . Curtain to get changed behind in the dorm is a nice touch. It's quiet at night unlike the oldtown. The only negative thing is that the showers are a bit cramped but that's not a reason not to stay here.
Great hostel in a central location with friendly staff
Great hostel, near bus and train station and a short walk to the old bridge, Miran, the friendly owner is a great guy and runs a daily tour of sights just outside Mostar which is very much worth doing especially for the waterfalls as well as giving an insight into his life during the war. If his local football team is playing he'll take you to the match too and went out of his way to organise transport for everyone who wanted to go. Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed in!
Alan and Lydia were extremely helpful and took time to make sure that their guests enjoyed their stay
Hostel is ok with the advantage of having a bar and the position is good but the bathrooms were very dirty and the dorms could do with a bit of attention.
