Haadlad Prestige Resort

Koh Phangan, Thailand

The hotel was extremely quiet when we were there, but it was nice because that is what we needed. Our room was the cleanest room we have seen in our entire trip through Thailand! We had a gecko on our bathroom upon arrival and didn't know how to get it out, but three staff members came to tend to it within minutes and we all had a little laugh. Pool area and beach was nice. Not much going on in the little town, so definitely more of a relaxing vacation area, no parties. Sad we didn't stay longer

Gongkaew Chiangmai Home

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Nice little hostel/ guest house away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets in Chiang Mai; however, within walking distance to everything or a cheap tuk tuk ride! Staff at front desk don't speak the most fluent English, but we very friendly and extremely helpful when booking excursions and with questions you may have. Facilities were cleaned daily! Common area and washrooms are outdoors, so bugs are definitely an issue. Wear bug repellent and you'll be fine! :)

Little Hanoi Diamond

Hanoi, Vietnam

Hostel/ Hotel was clean. Only one front desk staff member was super friendly and spoke fluent english; had a bit of trouble communicating with the night/early morning staff, but it is to be expected when travelling to another country, so not a huge deal. Front desk staff was more than helpful booking excursions and taxis. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely wonderful and much appreciated! Everything around the hotel closes around 11pm, so be aware of this if arriving late!

Town House 50 Saigon

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

I found it refreshing to have a clean, comfortable place to stay in Ho Chi Minh. About 10 minute walk from backpackers district, so not as noisy and a bit safer! Only 10 minute walk to war remnants museum, good food close by. Staff were always great and were super accomodating with anything you needed, including booking excursions or a taxi to the airport. AMAZING breakfast and Ice Coffee!!! Even made me a to go package for breakfast one day.

360 Hostel Barcelona

Barcelona, Spain

Staff was friendly and very helpful! Met some amazing people during my short stay. Free internet and wireless is an added bonus! :) Would definitely stay at Barcelona One Centro again!

London, England

Lift was broken when we arrived... which is the one reason we got the place (BIG suitcase), luckily it was only 2 flights of stairs. The friendly staff, and EXTRA clean room (Twin w/ ensuite- which was actually a bunk bed with a double on bottom- good!) and bathroom made up for it!!! Thanks.

Hotel Spagna

Florence, Italy

They tried to pass on a single that turned into a bunk bed as a Double bed room, because they overbooked!!! Fortunately we arent dumb and know better. After a bit of conversation with the morning girl, we got a discount for what we should have paid for a Twin room, but it took a lot to get it. Night guy was good however... GREAT LOCATION!

Sandy Hostel

Rome, Italy

GREAT LOCATION!!! Literally 10 min from the Colliseum and train station! Staff was great.. very helpful. Only issue was the 7 flights of stairs to go up.. lift only works from the top with a key and money... and the shower wouldnt drain properly.

HappyBed Hostel - Steglitz

Berlin, Germany

VERY FAR from all the sights and train station. Felt like we were staying in an abondoned school or hospital. Newly renovated however, clean! Staff somewhat friendly and helpful.

First hostel experience EVER. Right across the street from the underground, I found it easily. Gal at the front desk (sorry dont know name), SUPER nice, very pleasant, answered any questions I had. Only about 20-30 min from anywhere you want to be. First night, almost everyone was in bed early in my room, and noone really talked to one another, but second day met a couple really awesome people, had a bit of fun... it was great!! Would recommended it to others.
