Really liked this place, have stayed here twice. There are 2 bathrooms for only 3 double rooms so the shared bathroom is not a problem. Good breakfast. Anapaula is lovely, helpful.
A very clean, nice place to stay. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. No complaints.
The breakfast was excellent! The hostel was clean and modern. Really nice.
The staff, especially Britney, were very friendly and helpful. If you are booking a private room don't bother going for Ensuite as the bathroom is not part of your room, you just get exclusive access to 1 of the 4 bathrooms. The pool is more of a paddling pool and the kitchen needed a good clean but overall I did like this hostel.
The owner, Rene, was very helpful in explaining the city and giving tips on where to go, so much so we stayed an extra night. Breakfast was fantastic. No complaints with the room.
I really liked this hostel - free use of the washing machine, free wine in the evening, good breakfast, roof terrace and an excellent BBQ on offer several nights of the week.
A pretty good hostel. Great communal area. My only complaint is that they have listed a book exchange but you are not allowed to exchange a book... They are numbered and kept under lock and key.
Great atmosphere and pool area.
Helpful staff. They even posted our postcards for us. Breakfast was good. Our private room was huge. A good place to stay.
We had booked a private room. When we arrived we were given a dorm room but assured that nobody else was staying in there so it was effectively a private room. Later that night another guest arrives in the dorm. The man on reception found this funny and was laughing with another member of staff. He also seemed to think he was doing us a favour by only charging us the dorm rate. Overall, I would not recommended.
Excellent pousada. The best I have stayed in on my travels in Brazil. Roger, the owner is friendly, cheerful and happy to help on where to go and what trips to go on. Breakfast is great. You can borrow snorkling gear for free too!
The staff are happy to help and the hostel offers a good range of trips. However, we booked our tansfer to Ilha Grande with them and the company, Easy Transfer, was a shambles. Disorganised, delayed and they crammed far too many people on to the boat. The breakfast was good and available until 3pm. The hostel itself is just looking a bit tired.
Excellent value for money! Great pool and bar area.
A seriously good hostel.
Everything you would want in a hostel.
Not a hostel but a cheap hotel. Breakfast was good. The room was dated/old fashioned but excellent value for money.
Excellent location, friendly owner, cosy room.
Excellent location and breakfast. As we had a private room we were in the adjoined hotel rather than the hostel.
A lovely hostel. The owner could not have been nicer. Great location, clean, good breakfast. What more could you ask for.
Room was small but clean and nice enough, modern en-suite. A B&B, not a Hostel atmosphere.
Good place to stay. There was a cat and really cute kittens roaming about. Breakfast was bread, cheese and eggs. The poor weather stopped us using the outside but it looked cool. Airport pickup was handy.
The staff were great, friendly and sent our postcards for us. The room was clean and modern. Would recommend a stay here although its not in the closest area of hotels to the entrance. Ate twice at the buffet they provide as an extra in the evening, no complaints.
The entrance to this hotel is via a rickety lift, there are no stairs which was a little unnerving. The staff were friendly, one particularly friendly lady gave us cake. We also had an airport pick-up, no problems there. The room was ok for the money but the bathroom old and scruffy and there was no window behind the curtains! Breakfast was good. We went on a day trip to the desert castles organised by the hotel which was an enjoyable day and good value for money.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a club nearby and we could hear the music in our room but it finished by 12 and didn't stop us sleeping. I would recommend the hostel.
Quite bizarre but mostly in a good way. Its suits its name, it has a watery feel about it that is hard to describe... or maybe that was just the weather while we were there. The staff are super friendly and provide you with ginger tea whenever they see you. I would recommend it for value for money.
It is quite far out. You have to get the tram into the centre really. The rooms are modern and clean. I had my shampoo and shower gel stolen out of the bathroom. Its ok.
Andreas home is fantastic. She's lovely and so helpful. She sat us down when we arrived and told us all the best places to see, go and where to eat etc and gave us maps. Not the hostel atmosphere. Nice room. Clean. Good location. Stay here :)
Room and en-suite were really nice, new, clean.
The shower was freezing and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom but the room was nice. Although not on the island close to the mestre train station.
Excellent atmosphere around the bar area. Close to piazzale michaelangelo for great views over the city.
Standard hostel. Very small. Clean. Friendly staff.
