Great location, awesome staff and excellent rooms. My friend and I stayed in a private room and loved it. The front desk staff was super helpful with all questions we had.
It was a great hostel. The rooms and bathroom were super clean. The staff members were very friendly. There were usually people in the common areas that you could strike up a conversation with. About a 5 minute walk to the subway station.

1. We were put in a room that didn't seem to have been the one we booked. 2. There were squashed bugs all over our walls. 3. Its probably a 20-30min walk to thee main beach...which was nothing to die for. 4. The little path you walk through to get to the guesthouse is not lit at night. 5. We were warned numerous times to keep our doors locked and have our valuables put away. Basically, we've stayed at much nicer places for cheaper in India and don't understand how the place was rated so highly
We'd stay here again. We actually ended up staying over a week extra. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The beds were uncomfortable but when we were leaving he was in the process of padding them. We would definitely recommend this place.
Bodhi was a great find. It was over our budget but most places in Calcutta are around this price and Bodhi was worth every penny. Breakfast was good but I'd go elsewhere to eat anything else. We got what looked like bologne for a grilled chicken sandwich. I would definitely stay here again.
You get what you pay for :) The faucet in our bathroom reminded me of the octopus people in Pirates of the Caribbean. My friend had dirty bed sheets. But the room was cheap and food was reasonably priced. Our driver from Delhi was not pleased with our choice of guesthouse.
You get what you pay for. Its great for backpackers on a budget. The bunks were janky (one of the ladders had one rung and another was partially disconnected). The patio furniture cushions on the bunks were super old with holes and some had bugs. Dinner was good. Basic, dal and rice, but tasty. You can probably find something closer to the city center around the same price.
This was my second time staying at CheQinn and I would stay here again and again. The staff members are very friendly. We also met great backpackers here as well.
We highly recommend this Inn. It offered the comforts of a home....especially after a 55 hour trek to Luang Prabang! :) The staff were super helpful and friendly. It was just a 10-15 minute straight walk to the night market and restaurants...as well as a few sights. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at CheQinn and even booked to stay there again when we return to Bangkok. Everyone was super friendly and the facilities were awesome.
We had a great stay at the hostel and ended up booking an extra night. We met awesome backpackers and the staff was more than helpful with all of our questions.

Very close to central train station. Staff was super nice. Comfy beds and clean rooms. Cool hangout area and happy hour at the bar!
The staff was very hospitable and the B & B was very cozy; felt like home. Close to the train station.
