Dragonfly Hostels, Lima, Peru
8.0
12th Apr 2014

Our flight arriving Lima is at midnight, Dragonfly Hostel offers a 65 soles airport pick up service which is very helpful. And the staff will confirm all your requests and everything via email before you arrive. The rooftop terrace is a great place to chill and their home-made beers are pretty nice. Though the dorm room is just a little bit crowded and you need some patience for the hot water.

Good location, next to La Trinidad Church where you can find great food around. We arrived on weekend night, there was a group dancing happening in the plaza of Trinidad which is a very interesting welcoming. The breakfast is good. The atmosphere is cozy. Some staff don´t speak good English but they are always willing to help.

Calle 11 Hostel Santa Marta, Santa Marta, Colombia

One of the best hostels I´ve stayed in South America. The location is at Rodadero which is about 10 min away from town center of Santa Marta by bus, however the beach here is more enchanting. The pool and the dorm facilities are great! The owners Alan & Jessica are nice and really helpful! One of the staff misunderstood I had stains on the towel and charged me the cleaning fee, but after Alan knew about the situation he returned my money immediately!

We arrived late and left in the next morning, so didn't get too much time to feel about this hostel. Over all everything is fine. The breakfast is okay. Staff are always busy. Space is big and location is not bad.

Santa Mix Hostel, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The best staying when travelling in Brazil for 3 weeks. Located in Santa Marta where is the most cozy and relaxing area in Rio, though it always takes a little time and muscle to walk 10-15 mins uphill to the hostel. Staff are great, friendly and helpful. Zebra cat is just too lovely!! The rooftop is a great spot to get lazy. Everyone gets a welcome Caipirinha! Clean, well-organized and good value for money. Definitely recommend Santa Mix.
