La Casa Del Sol

Marrakech, Morocco

Nice hostel to stay at, friendly staff and the other travelers where also very pleasant company. With a few changes it could get much better though . I'd definitely replace the shower and the mattresses.

Corti├žo Hostel

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

A lot of thought was put into the decoration of the place, but this didn't compensate the lack of security, friendliness and powerplugs. There are no locks on the doors and even the front door was always open. Anyone could walk in and out. During my second night I got locked out of the hostel, no one opened when ringing the bell, calling the reception phone and banging on the door like crazy. I had to stay in another hostel that night! They couldn't even utter a simple "sorry"!

Hostel des Bernardins

Paris, France

With some small investments this hostel could be much better. There should be more electric plugs as 2 just isn't enough for a room of 10 people. And I consider towels to be absolutely necessary for a hostel. A hostel that runs out of towels?! It's the first time I had to deal with such a thing.

Shelter City

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Hostels in Amsterdam have a bad reputation, but this one was decently clean and the included breakfast was simple but enough to fill your stomach.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

+ It's a good location and very safe. - The breakfast looks very, very third-world.
