Awesome hostel. We were there in shoulder season for a very short time, so it was quiet. But the staff were fantastic and the place is great. Reccomended!

Not a bad hostel. Very modern. Pros: modern, reasonably friendly staff, good location, wifi, nice breakfast. Cons: every single night we got food stolen, the kitchen has one hotplate that doesn't even get hot enough to boil water so no point cooking, if you are over 6ft your head and feet will be pressed hard on the bed heads (this was in a private room).

We had a short stay here, but it was very nice. Nice garden. They were doing a lot of renovations, I bet it'll be even nicer when they're done.

Good: BEST breakfast in Brasil - it was really really good, I kid you not. Best and safest drivers working for them too. Bad: Only problems came when we tried to book a tour. On the day we were told the time had changed from 9:30 to 7:30 (we were told this at 7:30 while one of us was still asleep) and that we had to pay more. We re-scheduled the next day, but once we got to the tour we had to wait 3 hrs. Also for our bus out they offered a driver, who got our time wrong and we had to pay double

Great staff, super nice hostel in Vila Madalena. Nice suburb for safety, street art, bars, and close to the metro which takes you anywhere in SP.

1st of all, it is VERY hard to find! There is no sign out front and no street names anywhere. If you go west down Rua Esperan├ža, turn right at the roundabout and it's the house on the left with the blue wall (# 40). The staff are very nice and helpful (no english, but don't worry). The hostel is very new and clean with big rooms and bathrooms. It's a little outside of the tourist drag, but this is a good thing! (supermarkets and lanchonettes that are much cheaper). Nice breakfast too!

Pros: nice location, fantastic breakfast(!), very nice staff. Cons: the bedsheet wouldn't fit on the bed because the bed was super saggy, with a slightly mouldy mattress. Otherwise no complaints.

Absolutely perfect location, safe, fun enough but not overly lively. Rooms are OK for space, but lots of people. Free lockable lockers and friendly staff. The wifi is frustrating/broken, but the staff are accomodating with allowing free use of the desktops.
