It was probably one of the best hostel I have been in New Zealand. Spotless clean and nice stuff!
I had a great time in Silverfern during my stay in Auckland. The staff was Amazing, kitchen and bathrooms spotless, dispite it can get very busy and there's a huge turn-over of people, there are heaps of common areas where to chill out and socialize,.
The best rate in town and great vibe! I spent a few weeks in there and loved it. Unfortunately I have to admit it wasn't very clean.
The place was very busy and noisy. the staff wasn't friendly at all. It's located in Noosa Heads, quite a long walk to the beach. On the otherside dorms are ensuite and the kitchen was pretty big and clean.
I had a very good time during my week spent at this hostel, the staff is very kind and friendly, rooms are pretty clean and there's a big space downstairs where to chill out and meet new people, most of the people in there during my stay were long-term guests but there was an amazing vibe! Fair prices for the washing machine, dryers and vendor machines.
Nice little hostel, recommended if you are on shoestrings budget.
Ridiculous extra charges to store your laggages for just a couple of hours and the stuff didn't look any friendly, they were not able to give you any information about the town, transportation and turistic attractions. For the rest no complaints at all, the place was very tidy and clean but you probably would expect a place named Beachside hostel closer to the beach than it is in reality.
The place wasn't very clean, the kitchen too small, bed bugs available!
