Travellers Home Hostel

This is one of the best hostels I've stopped in. The staff are really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. It is a 2 minute walk right into the main centre (maybe 1 minute!). It's very easy to get to know other backpackers at the hostel as there's a kitchen/common room where everyone hangsout. Definitely will be back again here soon.

Good location, but maybe better locker facilities instead if cages under the beds.

Not up to an acceptable standard on the cleanliness. The shower was filthy. No lockers in room, therefore valuables such as wallet, passport..etc..could not be stored securely.

Fantastic hostel!!! Great staff, and centrally located for all the sights of Rome and the Termini train station. There's a free pasta night, free cocktail night...and this brings everyone at the hostel together. A very social hostel and easy to meet people. This was the second time I've stop at this hostel, and will come back there whenever I'm in Rome.

In a central location right next to Pimlico tube station. I was in Room 18 at the very top of the property up about 5 flights of stairs. Worst nights sleep ever - throughout the night when trying to sleep the loud and noisy boiler (which seemed to be located right next to the bedroom) was switching on and off. Try and avoid booking into this room!

An excellent hostel which is well organised and has everything you need. Located right in the centre of the city and close to everything on foot. The staff are great and even offer free ice-skates in winter for the city ice-rink. Had a really great time here and can't wait to return to this hostel when I'm back in Stockholm.

How nice that you use the word "when" and not "if" about coming back! It really is heart breaking with all these lovely guests whom you only meet once... I wish you would all come back. Kindly Lena

This is a brilliant hostel to staff at, and it's just round the corner from the ferry/bus/train station, so only a 5 minute walk. A nice small hostel with everything you need and spotlessly clean. The girl and guy on the reception and super friendly and always willing to help and have a laugh. It's really easy to meet fellow travellers here and a very sociable hostel. Thanks for the fantastic time at Split Backpackers guys!

A big youth hostel so its really easy to meet people. It's not far from all the main sights in Florence and within easy walking distance from the train station. The kitchen is a tiny bit on the small side but there's everything you need. The terrace is a great place to meet fellow travellers and it's a really fun place to stay. Wish I could have stopped here for longer! Definitely a great place to stop if you're in Florence!

This is a really great place to stay and the owners are great. It's small and just what you need if you've been travelling around in big cities and want to get away for some home comforts. Spotlessly clean, and an amazing breakfast. It's on a main bus route into Verona, and sharing a taxi back after the buses have stopped is relatively cheap. The owners could not have been nicer and friendlier and it made for a perfect stay. Thank you!

Milan Hostel Emmy

Too far out of the centre of Milan, and had a bad experience in our dorm. Hostel owners quick to blame people in dorm of dirty walls and wanting money from the deposit, before founding out who the person responsible was. Breakfast was not really a breakfast but a fair effort. I wouldn't stop at this hostel again, as there's many other nicer ones about.

Odyssee Globetrotter Hostel

Great hostel which really has an international feel and very easy to meet people. Staff at the hostel were really nice and there internet, table football, etc plus lots of info leaflets. It's a 5 min walk to the S-Bahn into the centre of Berlin, but is quite good to get away from all the clubs and tourists after a busy day. I'd happily stop at this hostel again when I'm in Berlin!

This is one of the best hostels we've stopped at, and if you come to Tallinn you should definitely stop here. Right in the Old Town and close to all the action. Flying Kiwi Backpackers has some of the comfiest best ever, a small and friendly hostel with a family atmosphere. Jen and Ed who run the hostel are amazing, and nothing is too much trouble. We can't wait to come back to Tallinn and stop here again. Thanks Jen and Ed for an awesome time at Flying Kiwi!! Paul, Danny and Mark :-)

Very disappointing...met by a grumpy woman on reception, abrupt, not particularly welcoming and unhelpful. Went to check-in and was told come back later as they were still cleaning....came back later and was told the same thing....this place seemed really unorganised. If you want a place where they don't waste your time...then go elsewhere!!..The only good thing was that it's right in the centre of Oxford!!!
