This place has closed down. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!! IT DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE
The elderly reception lady was a grouchy old goat. Wifi only works downstairs in the lobby.
They had no a/c in the rooms and the ground floor (which is the only place you can use wifi) rooms avwrage
The hostel is actually a 7 min train ride from Donostia train station in a quiet and beautiful little town, away from all the hustle and bustle, a perfect little retreat. The hostel staff don't speak English but will go to the ends of the earth to make your stay a pleasant one. They were extremely helpful and my girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay there.
This place was amazing apart from their lifts (shockingly slow) and their showers flooded very easily. The location wasn't the best for walking as it was quite a dodgy area, however train stations are close enough to get everywhere
Great location, intro by the staff was very brief and so we had to figure most things out. The maps they gave us were very helpful. The 'breakfast' included is just a croissant and a coffee.
Was a warm, welcoming place that provided secure rooms, cosy beds and a million heaters in each room for those colder nights. All in all a great place to stay. Only quarrel is that it's a 1.5km walk to the main strip of shops. Great for burning off calories after a big meal, but terrible when it's raining.
