A decent sized private room, being kept really clean. Bathroom is not too small either. Good wifi connection. Hot water is available, just boil it using a kettle from its kitchen. It could get noisy due to the traffic outside. Not that difficult to find the way from Hakata Station on foot, but could get quite tiring dragging along heavy luggage under hot summer heat.

Japanese Ryokan Kashima Honkan, Fukuoka City, Japan

It has a great atmosphere of a traditional ryokan, amid the city's concrete buidlings. Easy access to Gion subway and walkable distance to Hakata Station. It would be nice to have wifi in the guest room instead of only at the lobby. I'm not sure how to access into the garden, seems like nobody is there. Otherwise it would be another good spot for people to sit down and mingle around, maybe throw in a space for foot bath would be great.

Felt very welcomed. Room is sparkling clean, and surprisingly quiet, thanks to its location. Really appreciate the ice tea brought up by Mr Long's niece, and showing me around my room, she's always smiling. Mrs Long is really kind and soft spoken person, advising me the places I'm going, book taxi, and make a surprise breakfast for me. Had a great chat with her before leaving. The Long family really serve with more than just a smile. Would make it a point to return when I'm back in HCMC.

Great location at Bt Bintang with many malls, shops, eateries, and hawker nearby. Monorail is just across the street. Abit noisy at night due to my room being facing the main street. Ladies providing massage service tend to block the entrance up to the hotel at night, which is a little hassle. Breakfast is simple, but acceptable. Had a pleasant chat with one the staff.

Should have allowed earlier timing to check-in instead of 3pm. Would be better if a ramp is installed next along the stairs between the lobby's main door and the road, for dragging of heavy luggages. Otherwise a good location in a quiet street close to JR, subway, and Keisei line. A number of eateries, and convenient stores around the area. Room is big for a triple-room.
