It s all about location, downtown, walking diatance to the station. But there's a constant smell of food coming from the kitchen of the restaurant at the ground floor, bas smell on the corridors and inside the room, shaby blankets, tiny common area, small bathroom, too small for so many rooms on the floor, only one sink. Very clean bed sheets. Only go there as there are no other options. It's ok for a weekend away
Absolutely great! Very clean, quite and safe. 10 minute walking away from the Opera and Karlsplatz subway. Great all you can eat breakfast for only 4,50 euro. The market is close by, there are tons of goodies to eat and buy there.
Since my last visit in July, a third floor was added. I stayed in a 8 bed female dormwhich also had a tiny tiny bathroom, with toilet, shower and sink. I appreciated it as the showers are in the basement. The room was very clean also, being new. My blanket didn't seem very clean but the sheets were spotless.
The big plus is the location. Two steps away from Grand Place and Central Station. The single, no shower/wc room is very very small. some repairs could be useful. the TV was working. The toilet, one for an entire floor, was clean at the moment. Had no idea were the shower was, there was no sign. I didn't need it as I stayed for a few hours, in between the flights. there's 30 min free internet when you check in, after that you have to pay. If you stay longer, try the rooms with facilities
Great location, 15 minute walk to Mirabell Gardens. Very friendly staff. My only problem is with the mixed toilets. Not pleasant at all to bump into a boy when going to the toilet. I'm sure they can do something about that. I don't know what boys think, but girls don't appreciate the lack of parivacy. There's SPAR open on Sunday at the Station, 5 minute walk. This is a big plus. Any other supermarket in that area is closed.
Very conveniently located, close to Domo and also Cadorna (10 minutes away by foot).
Always a pleasure to go back there. It's so convinient located and very clean.
I'm always happy to get back. It's very well located, very safe. I'd have a suggestion, separate men and women toilets would be a good idea. There are people of all ages there, sometimes it's awkward. Also bigger size sinks would be great. It's very difficult (if not impossible) to wash your face in the tiny ones they have there.
It's the best hostel I stayed in in this world. Congratulations! It's very clean, safe, people at the front desk smile all the time and it's two steps away from Westbanhof. Great breakfast for 3.80 euro. I'll deffinitely go back. Thank you!
Very good location, this is its strongest point. There's no air conditioning in the building. There are so many people in the same room and we only get one small window to let the air in.
Its big advantage, the location. The four bedded rooms are very small and those facing the inner yard are noisy. But if you're a sound sleeper it will be fine.
I get back here everytime I travel to London. This time I got a bed in room at the ground floor. Waaaay better than those in the basement. There's more air inside the room. The only thing is that you need a map to find the showers :)). it's a small maze inside there. But once you get used to it, it's fine. I'll go back next year.
The location remains the key feature of the hostel. This time the rooms were a little bit smelly. And there's no air in the room. I don't think of air conditioning, but at least some windows to open. In a 18 or 21 bedded room there's only a small window that opens in a back yard. Also this time I was disturbed by those doing maintenance. They were carying stuff at 8 am. Well, this depends on what room you're in. And again, no air in the breakfast area. With 30 people in, it's hard to breathe.
Each time I return to Vienna I go to Wombat. Very close to Westbahnhof. Always nice staff, good breakfast for 3,90 euro Everything is very clean, rooms, bathrooms, common areas. It's great!
A very good position, right next to the Zoo Station. You have there the S, the metro, taxies, the X9 from Tegel. The room was clean, so were the toilets and shower. Only that there were just 3 showers for all the rooms on the floor. I wonder what happens if 10 people want to take a shower in the morning. It was a bit cold in the room so ask for an extra blanket. If you don't have linen with you, it's 3 euro. The breakfast is 4 euro. Also the internet connection is with extracharge, even the wireless one (5
It's the best budget accommodation I've ever been in. Good breakfast too. Now it's 3.90 euro (it was 3.50 last year) but it a good price. Very helpful staff, as always.
This time it was less noisy. Room 212 is great. 6 female bedroom. the position is very good, very close to Russell Square underground. Clean toilets. Good job!
Good position, 3 minutes to Bath Cathedral and 10 minutes walking from the station. Clean toilets but I would have prefered to be separate, for boys and girls. Great twin room, with a lot of space. Good free continental breakfast.
Speaking of the hostel, it's all about location. Walking distance of everything. Very close to the Met Opera and to Central park. I had a private twin room on the 9th floor with bunk beds. There was no ladder to go up in the bed. I had to move the table and chair in order to get on bed. There was no cold water at the sinks on that floor. Only hot water. Ask for a room on 11th floor, The toilets are definitely cleaner.
Very easy to find from the Megabus stop. Walking distance the White house and near the bus stop to the Capitol. Very helpful staff. Tanks for the cap, guys! Big twin room, clean. And very clean bathrooms. Better breakfast than many other hostels i stayed in. And free wireless internet. I'd go back anytime. Good job!
I had a private ensuite double room. It was great. enough space for 2 people and very clean bathroom. Clean and big kitchen. I liked the library area. It was quite. Free wireless and very good connection. The hostel is in walking distance from Union Square. If you arrive by subway from the airport it's easy to find but it's a long way UP the street. I'd go back anytime.
5 minutes walking from Russell Square metro. There\'s also a supermarket nearby. Even if it\'s big, it\'s no noisy. But those 10-12 bed rooms can be veeery crowded. Interesting choice of cerelas for breakfast. I\'d go there anytime.
Good choice to spend a night. A little bit tricky to get there if you don't know the neghborhood. A map is useful. Noisy till 2am because of the bar at the ground floor.
Very close to the metro. A little bit crowded and if you get there in summer... well, no AC. There is breakfast but there isn't enough place at the tables. You have to wait. And you have to pay for the lockers. 1,5 pounds/day. But for the location I'd go back anytime.
Right next to the metro stop Luxembourg, one stop away from Alexanderplatz. Clean but a little bit nosy. But i liked it and I'd go back anytime.
This is the hostel I\'d reccommend anytime. Good location, right next to Westbanhof Station, two supermarkets nearby, great breakfast for 3,50 euro, clean rooms with ensuite bathroom, no noise, friendly staff. Good job, guys. Wombat rulz.
Close to Victoria Station. Convinient for an early morning flight.
Good position. About 10 minutes waling to Darling Harbor and China Town. Clean room and kitchen. Loved the huge TV they have there.
