Bright and airy. Nice murals on the walls. So close to the beach, about 45 mins on the L90 from the city. Small rooms, no air con, but there's a fan. If people were smoking outside, the smoke would come in through our window, 2 floors up. There shouldn't be smoking by the pool, it's right near the kitchen so if you want to eat out side, you get 2nd hand smoke. Free wifi downstairs is nice.

1st impression, it's old and run down. Not much of a common area, the basement is the kitchen with 2 couches and a TV, but if everyone is cooking you can't talk or watch anything. Great having chargers in the lockers. Key cards for all doors, including washrooms.

Stayed in 4 bed mixed, had a mini fridge and no windows, was ok for 2 night stay, but might get claustrophobic for longer stays. Key card didn't work the 2nd day (couldn't use elevator to get to room) so had to wait in line for 30+ mins to get it reactivated! Need better wait system so people don't cut in line. Would be great if there were more hangers in the showers. Didn't use the kitchen, mall on queen street had great/ cheap food options.

There are a few money exchange shops along the street, but they only told me about the one next door. It's about 20-30 min taxi to the mall of Asia, but one of the other malls is just down the street. Didn't get to go to that one. Female dorm was nice.

Earplugs are your friend when sleeping...for the street traffic, the music below, and for other random sounds that filter thru. Books was great, right near Lapa arches. Chill atmosphere, great ppl!!

Stayed at Mix and Lazybones...both are awesome!!! Stayed for about a week at Lazybones- almost like a 2nd home! They let kids stay here, so you might have to deal with kids running around screaming. Volunteer/ Visit the Pandas!! Did 3 days at the Chengdu Panda Base, such a great experience! Thanks Lazybones staff, you are great!!! Now I need to find some mahjong players to practice with :)

Consists of 4-5 rooms on a single floor, 2 bathrooms. 1st impression-outside is a bit sketch but inside is very cute. Ppl upstairs were a bit noisy. We stayed 2 nights-Sept 20-22. Was a \'mix up\' when we arrived-had to move to another hotel for 1 night. It was ok, Andre drove us there. Breakfast was great-chocolate croissants-closed Sundays though! Easy to get lost on all the side streets, so prepare for fun adventures. Would stay again!!
