Tarragona Hostel

Tarragona, Spain

First thing to mention is Angel - a superfriendly and helpful guy who runs the hostel. We had quite spacious room with a nice surprise - instead of double bed as it was booked, there was a bunk bed with a double one down and a wide, single one up. Our room had only one chest of drawers and one chair - not suitable for a long stay but if you stay short, it's not a problem. Hostel owns an excellent patio if you want to relax without going too far. Central location and excellent value for money.

Pension Larrea

Comfortable beds, good room lighting, location in the very heart of the city, cleanliness and very friendly owner are clear advantages of this hostels. There seems to be, however, no access to the kitchen but for those who don't cook for themselves (vast majority I think) it's not a problem. In general - a hostel worth recommending.

Residencia Blas De Otero

Hostel combines best features of a hotel and a hostel. Perfectly clean, very well furnished with new furniture, bright rooms with bathrooms where also everything is smart and you can even find strings over a tub to dry your clothes make yor stay pleasant and additional, fully equipped kitchen (a complete surprise) make it possible to stay as long as you can. Add helpful staff, central location and a plenty of common room and you have a revelation. One of the best hostels I've stayed in.

Duermevela Hostel

Segovia, Spain

The hostel is a reorganized house situated just below the famous aqueduct. Some things were missing - there was little space in our room with scarce furniture, the bed was also quite small. Many things looked home-made and even though some may treat it as a drawback, I would rather appreciate the effort to do something out of nothing (moreover, all things were non-standard). Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Extremely kind, friendly and helpful attitude of the owner makes your stay enjoyable.

Hostal Sol

Toledo, Spain

Perfectly located hostel that you appreciate especially if you go down from the old town - it's at a cosy street a few minutes walking from the Alcazar. We stayed in a clean, nice room with good lighting. Sol is more like a hotel so there's no common space to meet the others nor activities for guests.

Mad4you Hostel

Madrid, Spain

We had a very short stay but what I noticed was: friendly, multilingual staff, perfect cleanliness, well furnished rooms with exceptionally good lighting. Additional plus for the access to the rooms - you enter them from a gallery around impressive, open patio where you can relax in the afternoon. Great combination of modern and old features. The hostel is situated somewhat outside the centre but nearby underground station solves the problem completely. I would definitely come back there.

It was a very short one-night stay but everything was fine - from a friendly and helpful receptionist to a very clean and well eqipped bathroom. Windows could be a little bit more soundproof as the hostel is situated in the centre of the city.

Another very nice hostel in the centre of Warsaw! Placed very close both from the central railway staton and Warsaw most important sightseeing points. Clean and well organised - for example, one day I ordered a breakfast at a certain hour and even though I was the only guest to order a breakfast, it was exactly in time. Arriving outside the reception working hours is not a problem at all. Highly recommended!

Klaipeda Hostel

I can't say a bad word about this hostel - it's in front of the bus station and the room was very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff gives you all assistance that you might need. . There's a well-equipped kitchen and a nice, cosy common room that lets you get to know other guests. The number of showers and toilets is surprisingly big. Last but not least, the hostel offers cheap additional tours to a Soviet missile battery!

Kaunas, Lithuania

The hostel is situated two stops from the bus staqtions, a little bit far from the oldest part of Kaunas, but very close to the city's main museums. We stayed in a super clean and surprisingly big flat with three rooms and a well equipped kitchen for just two of us - perhaps it's an exception but a very nice one. A superbly helpful receptionits provided us with all the information we needed from the insider point of view. Highly recommended!

Definitely worth recommending! This hostel is only ten minutes of walking from the main tourist attractons. 24 hour reception staff offers every possible assistance ( they let me use their own hostel internet and their printer in the middle of the night). Rooms are large and absolute cleanliness is guaranteed. Last but not least, it is a good value for money. If I manage to visit Florence again, I'm going to stay there one more time.

A good value for money! The rooms are medium-sized and very clean and so are the bathrooms. It is easy to fit even two backpacks in a single locker. Friendly and helpful staff offers assistance and gives city maps. The hostel is situated in the very centre of Warsaw but soundproof windows let you sleep in silence. Plus a lot of funny posters hanging everywhere!

Hostel Oki Doki

Warsaw, Poland

Definitely worth recommending! Oki Doki is uniquely located - at the quiet square but close to the very centre of the city, near the railway station and mean public transport routes. The rooms are clean, bathrooms are very clean and you don't hear the noise of traffic. Friendly, helpful and multilingual staff together with a plenty of available facilities make your stay as comfortable as possible. OkiDoki deserves a 100% positive review and when I'm in Warsaw next time, I'm definitely going to stay there ag

Hotel Arno

A decent hotel! Half-way between the central railway station and the Milan cathedral. If you don't fancy walking to the centre ( around 15 minutes ), you can choose a tram No 1 that takes you there right from the hotel. Clean room and bathroom, friendly staff that lends you an Italian-European plug adapter for the whole stay plus there's no problem in leaving your luggage for a day after you've checked out.
