Siamaze Hostel

Literally can't say anything negative about this hostel. It's more like a hotel really. The owners couldn't have been more lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful too. On my third visit there was an Italian staying there and the owner asked if he'd show them how to make carbonara. I arrived when it was being served and was immediately asked to join them, along with anyone else who was lucky enough to be around. It made a wonderful end to my 10 month travels! Thank you siamaze!

Really good breakfast, comfy beds and nice lounger area. Showers could do with doors not curtains. Weird set up with the bar, didn't see one person behind it during the 4 days I was there, and there didn't seem much point to it considering you had to be quiet by 10pm - not a party hostel.

Eggs for breakfast, amazing! However, the hostel was cold, and the dorms were freezing which made it really difficult to get up early - which you have to do if you're hiking.

Ok for staying for one night as it's very close to the bus station, but only one night. Only 2 bathrooms which was annoying, and you can't lock your bedroom door. Staff weren't that friendly.

Love this hostel!! The owner, Gaston, and his helpers, Isaac and Luca, are lovely lovely people! Would definitely stay there again. Very very clean as well, and a brilliant location right next to the beach and the best ice cream shop!

Brilliant location and relatively cheap, but they let people smoke in the front reception/lounge area where the wifi is.
