One of the nicest hostels I've stayed in! We had a spacious 4-bed dorm and each bed had a lockable cabinet with a power socket inside - genius! The hostel was very clean and secure and staff were super-friendly and helpful. Showers were always clean and had better water pressure than mine at home! There's a cafe attached with an all-you-can-eat breakfast spread for €5 and a bar downstairs with cheap drinks. There's both a tram and U-bahn station right outside so easy to get around. Recommended!
We stayed in a 4-bed en-suite room and apart from a slightly dodgy shower, it was great. The room was spacious and clean with the bathroom through a small entryway with lockers – very handy not to have it directly off the room. The reception staff were excellent – very friendly and helpful and available 24/7. It’s a good location, not too far from the station or main parts of town – easily walkable but there are also buses nearby.
Close to station but on a bit of a dodgy street – had to be buzzed inside so felt quite safe. Room was clean but en-suite bathroom dirty and bedroom & bathroom doors had big emergency exit-style push bars to open them, so it was impossible to go in and out quietly – in a 7-bed dorm, this made for a restless night! Guy that checked us in was great – friendly and helpful. There’s lockers in the rooms but you have to buy a lock (€5!) as no regular bag locks would fit on them, which was annoying.
Huge hostel with comfortable, clean rooms. The school-style bathroom was mixed, which was a bit weird and showers not great, so make sure you bring flip flops! Buffet breakfast (€5) was good and there's vending machines near the rooms for coffee, drinks, snacks and toiletry essentials, which was very handy! It's a fair way out of town but the bus stops regularly right outside so we didn’t find it too bad. Staff are there 24/7 and are friendly and helpful.
Lovely guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff. Located in a nice, quiet area but only a short walk into the town centre. We stayed in a (huge!) twin room with a shared bathroom but didn't see another soul the whole time we were there, so it was like having private facilities! If you’re looking for somewhere lively and atmospheric, this isn’t the place for you. But if you just want somewhere clean and welcoming to stay a night (all you need in Pisa!) then I would highly recommend it.
Close to public transport & friendly staff. However, seemed to be mostly long-term, older residents, which didn’t create great atmosphere. We were right next to the wooden stairs, so heard everyone coming and going ALL NIGHT. Main problem was that there were 5 people in our 4-bed dorm – if booked this way, it’s unacceptable. If not, don’t know how staff hadn’t noticed due to huge amount of guy+girl belongings as only 1 bed occupied on check-in. Only stayed 1 night so felt too weird to complain.
Lovely hostel in a great location, right at the entrance to the town. I was travelling alone, so having a hostel around one minute's walk from the bus stop and really easy to find was nice! The staff were all very friendly and the hostel was very clean. The rooms had single beds instead of bunks, which made a nice change! There's great views from the hostel terrace and a bar and restaurant right next door.
Huge hostel with very modern interior design. Friendly staff & the place was clean and well-maintained. The bar is great but could do with some more promotion as it was always fairly empty when we went in. Only downside is the beds - I was in a 'four bed' dorm but it was a double bed with joined single bunks on top. Awkward for the guy and girl strangers above us. My friend and I shared the double but it was a converted couch, not a mattress, so very hard! After 3 nights, had very sore back!
Nice hostel in great location. It is very close to a metro station and within walking distance of the Sacre Coeur and the main Montmarte area. There is a good-sized common room and free breakfast is always a plus! The staff were okay but didn't seem to know too much about the area when we asked. Other than that, it's a good hostel. Fairly expensive for what it is but it is Paris so they all are!
Nice, friendly hostel in excellent location. Free continental breakfast and ALMOST free hot breakfast (think I paid around 40p for an egg and a hashbrown)! It\'s very close to the town centre (though that\'s not hard in Bath) and a short walk to the main attractions as well as a few restaurants and pubs. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, though the only downside was the tiny showers.
