decent enough spot whilst in transit. easy to find from the directions given and nice staff. i sleep deeply but there can be a lot of noise at night which might be troublesome for those who sleep lightly as the doors are really thin. good cheap beer in the hostel and a good pub close by one block in front of the hostel to the left..
the place was grand enough. essentially a room in a person's house. the family were nice and the ones who couldn't speak english made up for it by smiling often. probably about a 15 minute walk to the old town although you can also get a bus which would get you there in about 5 minutes
great location at a good price. the pull out drawers in the room were a bit of a hazard as they didn't go under the bed properly- easy enough to accidently kick them when coming in through the night into a dark room. still great value though thanks
good place to stay. the staff were friendly and helpful.
great place. staff really friendly and helpful. the live music on saturday night was tremendous as was the bar food and drink prices.
the staff were a bit draconian. At 30 years of age it is the 1st time I have ever been told that we would be refused entry into the premises later on that evening 'if we couldn't talk or walk.' Firstly I have never been in that state and secondly they were offering a pub crawl that night so you have got to think many folk would be drunk. The staff were also unapproachable. In most hostels I have stayed staff are smiling and welcome any questions. the staff in this establishment were not.
a nice place in the heart of prague. the staff were very helpful and the price was very reasonable. i would stay there again.
decent hotel a tram journey away from the main tourist areas of prague. would stay there again
great hostel in a great city. ideally located so you can walk everywhere. the staff are really friendly and helpful. would stay there again if i ever find my way over bremen way again.
a very impersonal hostel. some of the staff were very unhelpful although the staff who were good were very good. the new cuban bar worker seemed friendly and always had a smile unlike the frosty barmaid. the bar wasn't well used by the people in the hostel so it was difficult to meet people. would be much better if they only had wifi in public areas as some of the people in my room never seemed to leave the room instead they spent all day and night on their computers while lying in their bed
the australian girl tending bar/ acting as receptionist was excellent. very friendly and aproachable. the hostel is clean, cheap and well placed for spending time in edinburgh or for a short stop over if you are requiring to spend a night in he city before catching an early morning flight. definitely would stay there again.
the stay at the hostel was great value for money. the breakfast is great, the bar probably has the cheapest beer in town and the food menu is extensive and cheap- all sports are also shown as well. the only criticism is the hostel doors don't have locks (get a padlock for your locker from reception) and there are only 2 male and 2 female toilets so in the morning it can be difficult to get access. i would stay there again though
the location of the hostel was great, the 6 bedded dorm i was in was clean enough, spacious enough and the bed was comfy enough. The bathrooms however were quite dirty. 2 mornings in a row i needed to clean the bathroom before i used it although that is more down to the other folk in the hostel being messy/ dirty than the actual hostels fault. only 2 toilets per floor is inadequate for the number of prople on each floor (around 20) the kitchen could do with more utensils as well.
the hostel is ok. the owners are not overly pushy when it comes to their trips unlike some others in cairo and it is centrally located. free breakfast isn\'t up to much but it\'s ok. the dorm rooms don\'t have a lock and the fan is really noisy. private rooms have locks though which is good. you need to use a brush to push water towards the drain after your shower but it\'s not that much of an inconvenience. good value for money. would stay there again. was very quiet though when i was
great hostel! right in the centre of dahab it's a 5min walk to the lighthouse for snorkelling&diving&is right next to restaurants. i was given a private room with aircon despite booking a dorm(paying the same price) mohammed (the reception guy) is excellent as are the bar staff. it has an excellent roof terrace, bar area and beach sitting area. hostel is clean and new. would recommend this place&would return in a heartbeat. dedicated hostel so no hard sell on tours- perfect!
cheap¢rally located(so are they all in cairo though) the owner and some of his staff try&sell you tours night and day which is a pain. they didn't turn up for me at the airport despite me recieving an email telling me they'd be there. particular warnings- their free pyramid trip involves visits to shops owned by their friends, their trips don't have itinaries and the guides don't always speak english, traffic makes some rooms really noisy & never pay up front- refund unheard of!
the best you\'ll get in manchester for the price. decent location, rooms are ok and the breakfast of tea and toast is good enough.
great location and price. breakfast is pretty good and the staff are helpful. just a shame they can\'t organise better weather but that\'s not their fault. would stay there again
dorm rooms are small and the place has little in the way of fun.
good alternative to the tourist mecca of koh san road. the hostel is a good place to meet people, the food menu is good and it is fairly cheap. it\'s close to the sky train and has good nightly promotions at the bar and during sporting events. good for solo travellers and for people travelling as a group.
oh celtic we love you!!
decent enough hostel. we stayed in the dorm and luckily there were others in it which made it good. if we\'d been the only ones maybe it wouldn\'t have been as good. we had little dealings with the staff and it is more a hotel than hostel so there is little in the way of organised fun. decent enough though to use as a base for a few days in rome but i\'d imagine it could be a lonely place for a solo traveller if it was quite when they were there
decent enough hostel and ticks most of the boxes i look for in a hostel. the only negative was the airconditioning which gave me a bit of a cough as it was way too cold but apart from that it was all good
we only stayed the one night on the way to a champions league match but the hostel was ok. it was clean and centrally located and it had no curfew. we weren\'t there long enough to say whether or not it was fun but as a place to sleep it was more than adequate
