Average stay. In good location- heart of old town but rooms are dark and minimal room. One bathroom with toilet inside shared between 10 other people in the apartment. The girl that works there is grumpy and uninviting. Not the best place to hang out and meet people as there's no sitting area.
We stayed in a twin share private just around the corner from the reception. Our room was pretty small within ensuite. The area of la spezia was a tad dodgy come evening. We stayed in la spezia for a base and just trained it to all the towns during the day. Breakfast was included at the pizzeria/reception which was really good!! Best included breakky we've had all over Europe. A good accom if you are just after the basic bed n bathroom.
Not much to do here. They have a pool but its always crammed with kids and doesn't look inviting. You have to buy a swimming cap to be able to swim. The onsite restaurant has limited opening hours which can be a pain. A pretty basic camping ground, but decent enough for a night or two.
We had an apartment for 3 people which was a 5 minute walk from the main reception. Still close to the main part of town. There were 2 bathrooms/WC and a fridge. No cooking facilities but that didn't bother us as we only stayed one night before doing our Sail. Overall a clean, cute room with A/C which was much needed!
