Oops Design Hostel

Paris, France

I had very bad experience with the bed itself, which was small and not really comfortable. For breakfast we had 1 croissant and 1 small bread, same every day. No way to exchange croissant to bread or opposite. Towel is 2 EUR (with 8 EUR deposit!), but its size was only to clean your hand. No separate towel for face... Room and bathroom was extremely small. Hostel was close to metro station and it was at a nice area. There is no way to cancel second half of the booking, you can imagine why...

We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience here. However, we have to recall you about some incorrect information. The breakfast has also fruit muesli and chocolate cereal, and it is free. Towels are small and we are providing bigger towels; however, if you want two different towels you can rent two towels, and it is quite cheap compared to buying a new towel in Paris, usually for €10. Our cancellation policy is 2-day. Kind regards, Oops staff.

Cordoba Bed and Be

Hard to find better place for the hostel, although it is close to a noisy place. I liked very much the flexibility and kindness of the staff. For breakfast you can have freshly squeezed orange and Nespresso! Very clean and friendly rooms. Unlikely there is no elevator. Room was quite expensive, but Cordoba is not the cheapest city. I do recommend this hostel.

It is located in the center of the city. It is very cheap hostel, so do not expect that much from breakfast. Room is average, private bathroom is just okay. Rooms temperature was good, we didn't need to use AC.

Hostel has very friendly staff, they are helping you wherever they can. Although hostel is equipped with air-conditioning, it is switched off around 10-11PM, so it is quite hot in the room and you have to leave window open. With opened window is extremely noisy, so it was hard to sleep. It is quite complicated to find the hostel as there are very small streets around, so before you arrive collect some detailed map to find it. I do recommend this hostel, but not in warm season.

That area, where this hotel is located, full of Indian people trying to sell you drog or other staff and usually they bother you. Sometimes you need to wait 15 minutes (!) to be able to use elevator as plenty of people are waiting. Staff was helpful, they could speak English, room was clean and cleaned daily, equiped with AC and TV. Because of the location, I would recommend to consider choosing other location.

Hostel is in good location, although you have to consider reception is available only between 8am and 11pm. Breakfast is very limited, only between 8 and 10, so if you planning organized trip from Florence, you will miss it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hostel has great location, staff was very useful. Ensuite room was not so well equiped, there was only 1 power outlet for 4 people with mobiles and other electronic devices. Being on the ground floor is not so pleasant because of the noices.

This boat is very close to railway station and really center of city. For me it was very comfortable. For breakfast you can have fresh cold meat, there is free coffee and tea whole day. Staff there was very kind and helpful. I think it is unique experience that you are sleeping on a boat, I had a very good night ;-)

We can choose only one thing for breakfast, no way to have second coffee or drink coffee and tea. Usually breakfast is self-service. Staff was not so well informed about cities like Hague or Rotterdam. Hostel has no characteristic, let's say style is poor. Some hostels are being more colourful with painted walls, nice pictures on the wall (not just a photo). Rooms are quite depressive. Even if voucher were planned to be asked in all times if someone enters to hostel, it was never checked!

This hotel is in the middle of Porto, so location cannot be better. Staff was not so good in English, but they helped us as they could. I definitely recommend this hotel, because very cheep and in very good location.

Based on evaluation of this hotel I was expecting more. Rooms were very poorly equipted, there was strange smell in the room, which made this stay quite bad. Staff was very helpful, but wifi was available only in front of reception. Not a surprise that breakfast is poor: bread, simple croassiant, jam, coffee, hot milk and tea. I am disappointed.

Hostel is in good location, close to Westbahnhof. All of us liked very much garden belong to hostel, which is full of trees and plants. It makes this hostel special. It was clean and safe, but rooms had no style (white walls), bed was not long enough and shower room was very-very small. I missed breakfast inclueded and internet access, which is so normal nowadays. Anyway I recommend this hostel for stay.

Best Hostel City

Stockholm, Sweden
80%

Hostel is only few meters from city center in a quiet area. Rooms are above surface so rooms have doors, which is good in Stockholm! Breakfast is not recommended in the hostel. Accommodation in this city is very expensive, you need to pay for everything separately, considering this condition this hostel is a good choice, recommended, but do not expect high service... Provided computers are very poor.

Owner Comment (Hide)
We have improved the breakfast so hopefully you would like it if you came back. The most important for us, is to give good service and we want to hear what our guests thinks of their stay, so we can get better!

The Monkey House

It is not the best hostel I have ever stayed, rather dirty. Unbelievably that there is no basin close to toilet and in the bathroom, only in your room. Bed is unconfortable, covered by plactic staff, so it is hot, noizy and unconfortable. It is not a good place to sleep...

This hostel is full of fun, they are offering some program every single night. Although it is in city center, it is very noisy are. I hate that walking to the hostel you are stopped by dealers who wants to sell you crack and different drogs... but don't worry, area is safe enough.

Perfect place, really! I recommend it. Silent, clean, good bed, fine breakfast, speedy WIFI, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Only problem can be: there is no airconditioning in the room (it was not necessary in September, but in summer...) and wifi is working only in public area.

It is very friendly hostel, I can offer. Breakfast is okay, there is air-conditioning in the room, some rooms are very nice (depends where you sleep). It is pretty far from train station, but it close to ferry and port. I can recommend this place ;-)

It is a good and cheap hostel, do not expect any special, good to stay. Breakfast is okay. Consider WIFI is working well only in the kitchen. This place is very quiet. There are (at least) two buildings belong to hostel, the further one is pretty unconfortable. Although airconditioning was in our room, it was not working on some days.

Capsule Inn Akihabara

Tokyo, Japan

You cannot store your staffs because you will receive a really small box (you can take in it ONLY a small backpack!). The smoking area is next to the room where you can leave and lock your clothes and other things, so it is awful, everything will be evil-smelling. On the other hand you have to leave the hostel in the morning and you cannot re-enter until 5pm! I don't offer to anyone this capsule.

Aizuya Inn

The rooms are very small. It is very unconfortable to use coins to shover, 5 minutes for 100 JPN. The staff is very friendly and they try to help you as they can. This hostel is far for everything. The metro is close, but it takes more than 30 minutes to arrive to real city center, and it costs 190 JPN (you have to pay higher price than the normal 160 JPN). They don't clean the rooms in every two days, as they promised. If your needs are poor, but you want to pay less, this is your hostel.
