The staff at this hostel were great. Really friendly. The common areas are cosy and there is lots of information about Tokyo available. There was also a sushi party at the hostel while we were there. Our double room was a little small and the bathroom could have been cleaner though.
The hostel is very cosy and the staff and friendly and keen to recommend things to see and do in the area. On the down side, the sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases were a little old... they could do with new ones.
Really lovely location right in the park. Good size common area. Helpful and friendly staff.
This guesthouse is in a really good location, a short walk to the castle. The common areas are in a really great, traditional old Japanese home. The sleeping area is new and really comfy. The owners are really friendly. Good place to stay :)
This hostel seems like it is in an unusual location but it is actually only 20 minutes by train from Shinjuku (on the Yamanote line). The kitchen and rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly. They also played a movie on Saturday night and provided snacks. I`d stay again when I`m next in Tokyo.
A great place to stay in Kanazawa, within in walking distance of most everything you`d want to see. Shaq is very friendly.
Our dorm was close to the common area so it was pretty noisy at night.
The common area is close to the most of the rooms and was quite noisy late at night. Otherwise the place is really nice :) The staff are friendly and it is in a really good location.
The room we stayed in had recently received new wall paper so the smell in the room was pretty unpleasant, and there were no windows! Some of the rooms are really close to the kitchen and people were noisy late into the night. The part we stayed in also only had one shower and toilet to be shared with at least 10 people if the place was full. Not ideal!
Some staff were a little abrupt.
It`s a really nice setting. Close enough to Khao San Road but still really quiet. I would stay here again.
Really good kitchen area, most of the hostel is newly renovated, a lovely 20 minute walk along the river to the town centre, I would definitely stay here again.
Great kitchen and terrace area, close to town.
Really friendly, helpful, hospitable staff. Pretty basic rooms. Good common area.
Malcom was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The toilet and shower were in the same bathroom so there was a bit of a queue at times and the shower did run out of hot water 2 nights in a row. A good place to stay though, I'd go back if ever I was in Nida.
The hostel is in a really good location and has an excellent breakfast. Our only issue was that all of the toilets and showers on each floor are in the same room so if you needed to use the toilet and someone was in the shower you had to wait! There aren't enough showers for the number of guests at busy times either. Otherwise a good place to stay :)
Security is good, lockers in rooms opened by keycard. The room I stayed in was pretty small for a 6 bed dorm and the kitchen is also quite small. If you have a map it is easy to walk to the hostel from the train station, you don't need to take the bus.
The staff here are really fantastic and gave me lots of great tips about what to see and where to eat. The hostel is really close to the train and bus stations as well as the old town. A good place to stay.
The hostel has a really big kitchen and good communal area. They only charge 4 euros for washing which is pretty good. The lockers in the rooms are a bit small to fit bag into.
Really helpful staff and good breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is breakfast even though I think it says this is not included. The only problem was the hostel was quite cold!
Excellent location, really friendly staff, good kitchen, heaps of activities and lots of computers to use. Great place to stay :)
Lovely place to stay, really good kitchen and outdoor area and chocolate pudding at 8pm each night!
A good place to stay, there is lot's of parking available.
This place has a massive outdoor area to hang out in :)
Our room was pretty dirty, it didn't seem to be cleaned after the other guests had checked out. Otherwise the hostel was really good and easy to find, in a great location, close to La Rambla.
The directions for finding the hostel are terrible! The staff were excellent. The rooms are pretty dated and could be cleaner. Close to the spa :)
This place has loads of character and although it is far from the city centre it is easy to get to on the tram.
Easy to get to from the airport. Close to Nice Old Town and the beach.
This hostel is located where all the action is in Osaka and is perfect if you need to catch an early flight in the morning. The showers are communal so if you are not into that...
Located in downtown Kyoto, really big common area, good place to stay.
This place is well located near tram lines leading to all the places you want to be and is a 10min walk from the main entertainment district. The staff are really friendly and provided me with all the vital sightseeing info.
This place has loads of character and is joined on to cool little restaurant at the front. A good place to stay in Fukuoka.
A cheap place to stay in Osaka, the area is not so bad and is close to both the JR loop line and the subway.
Easy to find from Kanayama Station and close to central Nagoya.
Fantastic place to stay really close to the train station and central Takayama. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Brilliant place to stay! Jimmy is cool and helped me to find accommodation in my next city. Definitely a good place to stay in Sapporo :)
Fantastic friendly staff, good location near 2 train stations, coin laundry across the road.
Good place to stay if you arrive late to Narita or leave early. The owner is really friendly and helpful.
Amazing views of the beach, good location.
Lovely location, great staff and yummy breakfast. Good place to stay :)
Central to all the sights. Good communal areas and free internet!
Awesome hostel, definitely stay here. Breakfast is good and definitely try the all you an eat tortillas!
So I got back after dinner one night to find someone sleeping in my bed.... After a lot of discussion with the man at reception I ended up sleeping on a pull out couch and he gave me my money back. I'm still not too sure how they managed to over book the room. It was interesting!
Really easy to find. Close to the bus station and Ephesus. Good BBQ and breakfast. Use of bikes to explore Ephesus.
Really nice place, very clean and pretty flash considering the price. There was free internet, a restaurant and pool. It had a very homely feel.
One of the staff members was very erratic, it took me about half an hour to check in because the guy was either incredibly drunk or taking something...
Ignore all the negative comments about this place! Unless you are used to staying in 5-star hostels, this hostel is great :) They have a fabulous guest kitchen and outdoor area which will be amazing during the summer!
Great hostel, REALLY close to the main train station and the action in the city. Free toast and hot drinks all day :) Fabulous staff. I would stay again for sure!
