Lockers available which is good as well as excellent security allround with noone allowed in unless authorised by the administrator. Hostel is in a big impressive building only 5mins away from the Railway Station and 5mins away from the City Centre. I would stay again and it is good value for money!

Wow! What a difference from New Zealand hostels! Flew in from Auckland used to the great NZ hostels to here...but it was OK and you can not argue with the price although the dumb CA accommodation tax they add on is disgusting! Not their fault but I suspect like in NYC they should not add it on a per person basis but as a room basis divided up etc! 6 bed dorm = 6 x tax amount pp but paying 1 amount so 5 x tax PROFIT each room every night! SF full of homeless people but this place is out of 'way

OK hostel with not too bad staff. In a slighty 'cold' building. Invercargill...well how can one put it...a pleasant quiet dump really...nothing really kicks off and a ghost town at night with no bars/clubs etc so I don't know how the locals pull or get into relationships etc! If you're going to Bluff, forget the expensive bus and just HITCH HIKE! Easy and safe and the norm in Southland! 1-2 day stay MAXIMUM!

Nice place. People who stay here are typical winter sports types and there is a danger that cliques occur. Staff are cool though. Queenstown is pretty cool with lots going on. People take advantage of the relaxed drinking in public before 10pm then go into the bars/clubs etc. Really good as this hostel is DRY! If you need to shop for food go to the supermarket Alpine on the hill and NOT the blue and yellow shops in the centre! RIP OFF! I got ill from using the dirty pans in kitchen! Don't use!

Hi, Thanks for your feedback Darren. It's unfortunate to hear you were ill during your time at Nomads. The pans are there for all to use and it's each persons responsibility to ensure they clean and do their dishes. I would suggest if the pan was dirty, to either clean it or advise one of our staff and we would of definitely made sure you had a clean pan to cook with. So happy you appreciated the dry hostel atmosphere. All the best. Kind regards, Management @ Nomads Queenstown

I still don't get the Hotel Tax added even though this was a 'shared room' booking. So the NYC Hotel Tax is for PER ROOM but this place charges EVERY guest this so a 10 Bed Dorm etc is 1 person per night pays this tax but the hostel gets 9 people's tax for profit EVERY NIGHT for EVERY ROOM?! Wow! Good piece of business! American hostel is where you have to pay for EVERYTHING! Cheapest Hostel in NY and it wasn't really bad. Nice enough staff even though a bit cold! Get a 7 day METROCARD! Nice place! Staff are great. Rooms are good! Excellent location across the road from the Egyptian Museum. 5 mins from Sadat Metro. Egyptians are one of the nicest people in world although there is a minority on the scam but harmless enough. Don't worry about Cairo. I had no problems as people don't really target tourists etc. They need tourism so they won't try anything against you. The only slight problem would be if you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. I had no worries and enjoyed it

Fantastic building which this hostel is located! Has plenty of charm. Good value for money and helpful staff! Good location with transportation and walking distance to buses and trains. Habour is just down the road and not too many problems at night. A nice area. Excellent facilities within the hostel. I'd stay here again. Kosher!

Dostoevsky Hostel

A fantastic hostel. The owner Ksenia is very welcoming and goes out of her way to make you feel safe and to enjoy Novosibirsk. Excellent location just across the road from Rechnoy Vokzal. Easy to get to from the Central Station (20 mins). A very safe location with excellent security. A western modern feel hostel with excellent facilities and clean/hot showers! The best value place in Novosibirsk! Why pay ridiculous prices for an hotel in a cold old soviet tower block costing $90-$180?! STAY HERE

Like a leisure/sports centre than a hostel. Not much character! Plus it pissed it down badly that day! The swiss girl needed a good seeing to though! A bit highly strung!

Very secure in a quite safe area. Would stay again! Being out from the centre was a good thing! Thanks guys! Cheap pick-up, drop-off from Tambo Int Airport!!! SERIOUSLY BOOK THIS TRANSFER!!!! ONLY 180 RAND COMPARED TO 300 RAND FOR THE RIP-OFF TAXIS AT THE AIRPORT!!! NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO THE CENTRE
