Fantastic hostel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The dinners cooked by the French chef are amazing and the im going to say the breakfast is the best I had on my 6 month adventure from Canada south to Brazil.

This place has an excellent backpackers vibe. Only 15 minutes to the beach but there are plenty of hammocks just to chill in if you wish. The staff are amazing and very helpful especially Orlando and Eber. Loved my relaxing stay here.

Loved this hostel, great people running it include juan, xavy and Rob the bbq specialist. Bands and individuals are always playing tunes on the rooftop. This place is awesome just to chill or party if you wish. Don't stay at the milhouse when you can stay here!

Great little hostel. The couple who owns it are so friendly and just want you to feel at home. Wish I could have stayed longer. A WARNING for travelers - if you are going to Salta from Tarija do not use the Flechabus office at the bus station. I was sold fake ticket and had to buy another one when I got to the Argentina border. Not fun at 2am. Best thing to do would be getting a taxi to the border with some friends.

We arrived and the double private room we were meant to have had some problem. So we were given 2 single beds at the same price. When we got our laundry done at the hostel a number of items were missing including a $100 hoodie. The staff didn't offer any assistance to find the item. It must have just disappeared like flight 370. So just a word of warning count your clothes that go in the laundry if you get it done here.

Awesome hostel to either chill out or party in. The free working tour was very insightful. just be mindful that the rubbish bins are emptied regularly in the bathrooms so that they are not overflowing with toilet paper.

We had a private room with a bathroom but the shower was not working and so had to use the communal one. The owners mother lives there and basically walks around the place from 5. 30am yelling. She was constantly hovering around us and we could not even cook without her being right beside us. When I asked for milk for my morning coffee she just yelled at me. It was a very uncomfortable environment to stay in. On a plus side the volunteers working there were quite helpful

We were going stay here over Christmas but we could not find the place. We asked everyone we could in town but no one had heard of it. It was like it didn't exist. Directions were terrible. This was very disappointing and quite stressful over such a busy time of the year, we were just extremely lucky to find The Surfing Donkey!!
