PROS: Excellent location. I always felt safe. Staff is nice. Comfortable beds. CONS: Impossible to sleep here. There is a window instead of a wall with a very thin curtain, so every time someone turns on the light in the middle of the night, the light shines bright straight into your eyes and wakes you up. Also, people turn on the light but don't turn it off. So you also have to get out of bed, and turn the hallway light off again if you want to sleep. Also, the internet is terrible.

The guys working at the front desk, both in the evening and morning, were great and super helpful. But honestly, the place was kinda nasty. The bathroom was dirty and felt gross. Also there was barely any hot water. Once the hot water finally came, then suddenly the water just completely shut off, came back on, shut off again, etc. Impossible to take a decent shower longer than 30 seconds.

Everything about the hostel is just a little bit awkward. If you plan to stay in the dorms, do NOT choose the 8 bed; it's basically a tiny cave with beds and bunk beds crammed together, room for nothing. There is no hot water in most bathrooms, except the ones by the kitchen, and even then, just barely. Everything smells old and dirty like a port-o-potty. You have to duck everywhere you go or you'll crack your cranium. It's difficult to find plugs. The views from the roof are pretty great.

You stayed in a large 13 bed dorm with several bathrooms. All bathrooms are equipped with toilet papers and 3 rounds are made daily on the bathrooms to make them clean and provide toilet paper. Hot showers are available 24 hours and are heated by solar power then at night by electricity. Electrical inlets are abundant in the hostel and in all rooms and lobbies.

The staff is great, and super helpful and nice to chat with. Nice to have a native English speaker to be sure. Taking a shower is a bit more tricky- must wait about 5 minutes until the water heats up, which feels like a bit of a waste of water. The dorm room was in the basement, but it was comfortable, and a lot of space. No bunk beds, which was great.

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us and thanks for writing. The problem with the shower is unfortunately unfixable. We have installed a solar system on the roof which provides us with lots hot water, but because the dorm is in the basement, it must first push out the cold water waiting in the pipe before arriving in your shower. In the summer its not a problem because the pipes warm up in the sunshine and people prefer cooler showers anyway - but for the winter it's a problem.

Ibrahim and the other guy were so great and super helpful and kind, many good conversations. They were also cleaning all the time, and everything felt so clean and comfortable. The common room is small, but very cozy. Actually I loved it. Always coffee and tea if you want it. Ibrahim was so helpful and helped to arrange a car for me to drive to the Dead Sea, and even lent me his plastic sandals to use since I didn't have any water proof shoes. Also, BEST shower! I loved staying here!

Location and staff great. Bathrooms kind of awkward. Cold water. Weird dude upstairs in the common room all the time smoking his pipe with glazed over eyes, even at 2am. It's pretty weird.

Younes was the best! So kind and sweet and always ready to help with everything. One of the other staff members, however, was really unpleasant; he was rude and arrogant and treated people badly. The feel of the hostel was great. It was open and good places for people to hang out and meet each other. Good atmosphere. The free breakfast was really nice. I had the best few nights of sleep in this hostel in a long time. Super cozy.

The bad: a constant battle of light in the common area. The people who watch TV sitcoms in the salon all day are always trying for the lights off, which make it difficult to do anything with light on, without a struggle. The bathroom is inside the dorm rooms, which is pretty tricky when you're trying to get ready and everyone is asleep. Also, they keep the windows in the rooms shuttered, so you're waking up in a pitch black room every morning. The good: Free breakfast, nice staff, good security

The staff was great, spoke both English and Spanish well, usually very friendly. The included breakfast was certainly a bonus. We arrived very early on the morning of our check-in day, as our overnight bus arrived early; the staff was very accommodating to us, allowing us to eat breakfast, store our things, use the showers, etc. The atmosphere is quite lacking. The key situation is a bit ridiculous. It's some electronic key that works 2% of the time. For the lock/key alone, I wouldn't go back.

Hugo was so great! Very friendly. The hostel had everything I needed, it was very comfortable, and had a great kitchen. The bedrooms were really beautiful and the living room was so cozy. I really liked staying there a lot! Total good vibes!

Giovanni truly and honestly cares about each individual who stays in his home. Though quite over protective, I appreciate his help and orientation to the city. He has recommendations for everything and will help you to make plans and navigate around Napoli, as well as surrounding cities. He is very trustworthy and honest.
