It's impossible to cook in this hostel unless you only want some instant noodles. Comparing with the one my friends were staying just a few hundred meters away, this place is almost twice the price for 1 bed, and it's not very clean. The door for the bathroom keep on falling off. No toilet paper half of the time. the lounge requires lights even during the day, but the staff tried to safe electricity and they keep on turning lights off and leave you sit in shadows.

Has a whole fleet of Mosquito attacking at night. Staffs having fun chatting in the morning loudly regardless that the guests are still in bed. So called breakfast was just 1.5 piece of typical egtption bread with 1 tea or coffee. The bread does taste fresh. Gets harder and harder day by day. Hair in the bread as well. But, good location. Everything close and they have 1 friend staff who was very helpful comparing with the others.

Some things in the kitchen doesn't work, and it's a bit too small for so many guests staying in the hostel. And it's locked from 11pm to 8am. It's very inconvenient for those who needs to get up early for the bus and need a quick breakfast in the morning. Also bad for the late arrivals. It's a good price for staying one night in highlands and it's close to the coach station. Also iceland is just in front of the hostel...can't complain too much but could be much better if the facilities improved.

I stayed in 8 bed female dorm and the room was big, as well as the shower room. hair drier in the bathroom, water was hot. very nice view from the terrace was good, and reak fireplace at night for a drink. free breakfast even on the day we arrived ( at 7 am). The owner Ercan was very friendly and helpful.

It was very difficult to find even with a car. We drove up the hill with the sign to the address (and this sign was not easy to find) to the end of the road, then found a note saying that cars should go from another route! We had to drive down the hill and up again guessing where we shall go. It took us about half an hour to find the hostel and no one was picking up the phone in the hostel at all. We waited at the door for about half an hour before we saw the owners came back.

Sorry about your problems Ningning. We sometimes go out to do some shopping for food. We normally leave a note on the back door with a mobile number to call, as we are never far away. There is a very good map on our website at http://www.fortwilliamholiday.co.uk/location that helps guests find us. Many people trying to find us use a satnav, but as we live on a private road we have no postcode and a satnav will not work. Thanks for your feedback. Alan & Sue Kimber (owners)

I think it's a nice place to stay if you go to Vienna. With the price they ask for, it's really a good deal for a small break in the city.

It's really a nice place to stay, as the staff is nice, and the breakfast is provided for free, though it's not included in the price.

We are very sorry for your disappointment but it is clearly written in our conditions that we do not have breakfast inclusive.
