Drop Bear Hostel

Santa Marta, Colombia

An absolutely great place to chill. I loved it, the staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. Located out of the town centre ( 20 mins walk), but few blocks away from supermarket and 4 km from Taganga its a great place to relax before heading off to the Tyrona! Organic coffee can be bought here too.The only thing: communal showers could be with a bit of more cleaning. But other than that just perfect. One of the nicest hostels I stayed in South America and the only ex cartel villa.superb

The hostel is located outside the city centre but it is only 7 - 10 mins walk along nice calle largo. I was astonished how clean it was. I would highly recommend to stay there

Stuff wasn't very friendly. Almost felt like I dared to bother them with checking in. No smile. No hello. Very noisy.good for those who want to party. I left day earlier.

Hotel Fuentes

La Paz, Bolivia
66%

An average lodging options. The only advantage of the Hotel Fuentes is its location, very closed to the central plaza. The staff was ok, neither super friendly, nor helpful. There was an issue with payment and deduction of the deposit paid via hostelworld website. The bathroom was dirty and looked like it hasn't been cleaned for a while. Constant lack of toilet roll. Wouldn't stay there again.

HI-Inka Pacha

Copacabana, Bolivia

It's is very difficult to rate this hostel. The facilties aren't very good, toilet tank isn't working, you have to fill small orange bucket with water to sort the business out. There is no keys so you can't lock the door, whether in or out. The direction given are rather misleading, it is not 5 minutes walk from the port, but 40. No Internet. When asked for a hot water to fill my coffee thermos I was refused. However it is the most beautiful place and the view from the window is breathtaking.

La Posada del Kuraka

Arequipa, Peru

Excellent. The Posada is a marvellous place to stop during the travels. The rooms are very clean, the beds - comfortable, staff- super helpful, they will even sort your laundry out for 3 soles a kilo.Aa small kitchen equipped with utensils enables you to prepare food, from salads to whatever else you fancy. Fantastic if you a budget traveller. The highlight of the Posada is the terrace with a splendid view of the city and three volcanoes. I loved it so much, going back there for another 3 days
