Loved that this hostel had everything, was big, amazing atmosphere...kitchen was great but annoying you have to rent dishes/cutlery...the pool, bar and restaurant were great and the Canadian guy helping me out was real nice as well! I was leaving super early and they made sure to help me out with that.
Such an amazing hostel. The staff were super hospitable and as I was traveling alone, invited me to their sushi dinner before their Surfers Paradise Big Night Out...which was such a phenomenal night, worth it! There's a pool, lots of sports they get everyone involved with, and a cheap bar right on site. The kitchen has everything you need and is kept really clean. The rooms have their own washrooms. The beach is close by. Everything is perfect, can't wait to go back one day!
The hostel is great. But even though all my bags were packed in a corner, nothing on bed (early interview)...because I didn't make 10AM checkout as I should've...that I was charged the full next night. I have been to over 100 hostels and there have been several times where I've missed a checkout time unintentionally and the hostel cares for YOU and doesn't charge you extra (& most certainly not a full night when I had to leave anyways). Backpackers are always on tight budgets. Not impressed.
Have been to over 100 hostels in the past 2 years and this is by far the best. The lounge and rooftop terrace is so amazing for meeting people and hanging out, the kitchen is HUGE and has absolutely everything you need, the rooms (super spacious) and toilets are always clean, the hostel has events nights w cheap food ($2 burger Sundays, $1 Aussie dogs!, free Aussie wine), they provide free tickets to Sydney's hottest bars on the weekends...this is a haven for backpackers. Definitely recommend.
Best value for your money for sure and the facilities are excellent. The hostel is really clean. Only downfall is that the city of Phuket itself isn't the nicest, especially during rainy season. But this hostel is the nicest I've stayed in in Thailand!
This is a party hostel and that is really all I came there to do. The staff are the best ever, the location is right next to the full moon party beach, and the music playing downstairs all day long is AMAZING. The only downfall is that the rooms don't seem that clean. The beds should be swept of all the sand after each person stays there and the bathrooms should be properly scrubbed. There aren't really any facilities other than a fridge and the lockers very small. Other than that it was perfect
Love this hostel and the food the woman in the kitchen makes is to DIE for! It's close enough to all the bars on that main strip and you have a 2 min walk to the beach. The hostel owner also lets you use his hard drive for watching movies on the TV in the main area which is good since it was rainy season for us!
I absolutely loved the hostel...its beautiful, clean, and super close to the bar area. If you want to day party you head down to Far Out but at night being at Francesco's is great because everyone drinks together in the bar area then goes to the bar all together so you meet everyone staying there. A lot of people also hang out by the pool during the day. The view of Ios from Francesco's is amazing and the staff are very accommodating...I was alone and they always made sure I felt comfortable!
This location is amazing...super close to Paradise beach, on it's own beach, has it's own pool and delicious food and mini market...and you don't have to pay the expensive prices of Paradise beach. No AC seriously sucks and I wish they cleaned my room even once while I was there as the floor got really dusty (in an 8 bed dorm, all of us there for 5 nights) and sometimes there wasn't any TP in the bathrooms...also wish there was cooking facilities but you do get what you pay for and it was fun!
Other than the bed being the most uncomfortable of this trip (and the free walking tour guide kind of sucking), this hostel was absolutely amazing. The kitchen facilities are the best I have ever seen, staff are super nice, the pub crawl led every night is really fun, and I overall had an excellent experience! The cleaning women are really nice and do an excellent job as well!!
Great hostel, it felt more like a hotel really. The breakfast was amazing, especially since it was complimentary but by far best breakfast a hostel has ever provided. Very spacious, rooms are very clean and quiet, overall excellent experience.
I stayed here last year and stayed there this year again because of the atmosphere and all the bonus things you get out of this hostel. The breakfast is excellent for 2 euros...they had a pasta night on the Tuesday I was there where they made some delicious pesto pasta...they took everyone out to party at 11pm each night so if you wanted sleep it was possible after 11 (but why youd want that in Rome is beyond me...). Great time!!! See you guys again next year!!
Stayed here last year and stayed again this year, the staff are great, location is perfect... so much fun and one of the most beautiful cities in Croatia.
This hostel is amazing. It is extremely close to everything you need, as well as to the Old Town (where the town is inside castle walls that you can walk around on). Neno is very helpful with anything you need, the hostel rooms are always clean, and it honestly feels like a shared house as there aren't too many people staying there and everyone hangs out in the common room at night to eat or drink! There's a locker and kitchen, don't need anything else!
The kitchen was amazing, room was huge and I liked the bathroom facilities connected to our room..only downfall was the one older male staff member seemed kind of unwelcoming.
Excellent hostel! Very clean, nice rooms, very very VERY nice staff, great kitchen facilities.
The staff barely spoke English so we couldn't ask for help getting to things we wanted to say or things we needed...and the washrooms floors weren't kept too clean. Wifi also didnt work for a while but eventually did. But the facilities are amazing, beautiful kitchen and lounge and washrooms and the rooms are quite big. Loved the lounge!
Power kept going out for extended amounts of time, there was only one washroom with a sink so you'd have to wait so long until the person before you finished a shower just to wash your hands, there wasn't a lounge area to sit so people were in their rooms talking or up late keeping you up as well instead of in a common area, the wifi didn't work at all for one of the nights, and the staff weren't that helpful or enthusiastic at all, especially in greeting us. Worst hostel after 3.5 months abroad
Nice free breakfast but the room smelled like smoke.

The safe box was really small and there wasn't a kitchen for our use but I guess that didn't matter much since there was free breakfast and dinner. Wifi was awesome and the rooms were nice and clean. The room by the front is awful because you can hear everyone out front and coming in but the second night I was switched and it was way better. Staff are super awesome and the partying was fun, we partied on a tram...so insane!
The hostel is pretty far away from the main area and bus station but the site says that so it was really good value for the money. A really nice pool and it's a whole apartment room to yourself.

Good place, nice rooms, rooftop bar, great location near ancient ruins, need more computers for guests and the wifi is brutal, has lockers though
We found out about the rooftop bar literally minutes before we were leaving for our flight at 3am...we wish staff mentioned it to us! Great location close to everything with an unreal view of acropolis. Lockers in the main room...only bad thing was how awful wifi was but that's all of europe really.
The breakfast was amazing, rooms had lockers for use, and it was super close to the major mosques!!
The female working there wasn't very knowledgeable about where to go for anything. We also were disgusted that people could smoke under the roof of the hostel...the female receptionist herself was smoking at the bar when we came to ask her questions. No lockers with locks...useless. The price was good but it took pretty long to get to the city centre. It was very easy to find though with the footsteps and the male staff the next morning was a lot more helpful.
Amazing kitchen for use, full size lockers, clean rooms with a fridge in the room and kitchen, staff was super nice...great place to stay!
The kitchen wasn't really functional but there was a fridge. The bedroom door was always open but there was AC and lockers. Very close to everything but it was one room full of people and there wasn't too great of an atmosphere...
We stayed here to have easy quick access to the airport. Free breakfast was delicious, the receptionist was kind enough to offer to put us in a dorm room alone so we wouldn't be with another group of four friends. They showed us the important places to visit in the city and the town itself was actually pretty nice! Especially the area with all the restaurants.
By far the nicest hostel I've stayed in my whole trip. Only downside was no kitchen available for travellers use but there is a super beautiful rooftop bar with an amazing view, the hostel is very clean (but staff needs to be more on top of cleaning counters and refilling TP in washrooms haha), rooms were big and spacious, atmosphere was excellent, breakfast was great...loved it :)
Amazing place, free breakfast, great rooms
Naples itself is so disgusting with garbage everywhere and just very scary...the hotel was amazing with a decent breakfast (there wasn't anything left by the time we got there 20 mins to breakfast closing) and the staff were amazing but I jut didn't like the city.
Loved free pasta and drinks, bringing everyone out to bars, getting the music going at 9 every night with everyone hanging out together at the big long table in the hall...amazing atmosphere and very clean. Location was super close to the metro and colosseum, great place! I want their music playlist!!!!!
Nice place, great location, free pasta dinners and the manager even took us out to a bar and paid for some of our shots!
The staff were super amazing, excellent location, able to lock lockers with a chain they give you, free pasta nights, brought us to an amazing little bar and gave us a bunch of shots...overall really great experiences!! Thank you so much!!
Great kitchen, annoying about the curfew, no lockers just a small safe in the main room that you have to pay for, kitchen and computer were excellent.
Absolutely loved the Italian man running the place, he's adorable and very helpful. The rooms are amazing with snacks and a fridge full of refreshments. Very very clean, close beautiful walk to the centre, AC, breakfast was verrrry delicious...no complaints whatsoever, LOVED this place!!!!!
Free yummy BBQ, excellent kitchen facilities, computers are great, staff was extremely nice, loved this place!!
Extremely far away but great security. There was only a microwave in the kitchen and a fridge. The washrooms were kind of gross but it was very cheap.
This was a very nice hotel with some hostel rooms in it so it was very nice and clean. Didn't like that we had to pay for Internet though, bit ridiculous especially since they were only Internet terminals so we couldn't open our hard drive on it,
We were barely even at the hostel since we were out the next day, only downfall was paying for Internet.
There was a great kitchen, breakfast was good, staff nice, liked this place :)
Smallest hottest kitchen, no AC in rooms, kind of far from everything but you can rent a bike through them and the hostel is huge...cool atmosphere in the lounge
Great kitchen, clean hostel, just didn't like not having a locker for our valuables.
The staff are amazing and a guy let me use his computer for a super long time to upload my photos. The downfall is the hostel is really expensive and the computer is locked so you also have to pay for the computer only to have Internet access (can't back up photos to a hard drive via USB). It was pretty crowded and small and warm. Very noisy at night, even on the Sunday we were there as its above a restaurant. So many stairs...just not worth the money.
It was a very quiet and clean hostel, and our laundry was done very quickly ! We just didn't like not being able to fit more than a few items in the little safe...but are very happy there was a safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful with absolutely everything and the kitchen was very nice!
The only downfall was the staff gave our reservation away but they allowed us to sleep in the living room for free.
A very quiet place located near everything. The staff was very friendly. Only downfall was no fridge or microwave access but otherwise it was a great clean place.

Love barcelona so much. The staff were helpful and although the hostel was smaller than expected, everybody was friendly and Carmelita really got the nights going, love her!
The hostel is pretty far from the downtown beach area but there are shuttles to buses...other than that, been staying in hostels almost every night for a month now and this has been the best by far. Great view of the city, huge hostel, very cool with a huge bar and chill area where everyone hangs out at night...big breakfast options and other meals too, great happy hour, and helpful staff. Can't be beat.
Throughout our stay the staff weren't friendly at all, or helpful. We had to leave our bags in the open lobby when we got there, which didn't seem safe. The hostel is not at all near the beach (it said 350m???), and when we asked the front desk to order a cab for us she ordered a private shuttle that ended up charging us 50€ for a 10 minute drive to the station. Absolutely ridiculous.
The kitchen was amazing, the hostel was really nice and big, the rooms were huge and had two washrooms in our own room (6person dorm I believe), and the lockers were a decent size for a regular backpack and more. Definitely check out the sunset from the Notre Dame Cathedral up the street...most beautiful thing ever.
The room was really nice and spacious and has its own sink. The hotel is right next to the Arènes de Nimes and is walking distance to everything. The staff that helped us check in was really nice and helped us figure out what we should see and where to go for the post office. The only downside was sitting in the lobby from 8pm-midnight because the guys staff that took over were pretty loud and playing awful music too loud for us to call our family on Skype and there was their baby crying there.
The family runs this hotel very well. They are super nice, very accommodating, and really helped us from the second we arrived. They got us from the train station and dropped us at Mont St Michel, then picked is up later on. The husband and wife are very knowledgeable about the area/France and other countries as well and really informed us on the surroundings. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. They packed us a delicious breakfast to go and drove us to the station very early. 5 stars!
The rooms were nice and spacious but didn't have lockers. Breakfast buns were pretty hard and the staff went too helpful other than one nice woman. There are lockers available but they only fit a regular size smaller backpack. Showers are annoying because you have to push a button every seconds to keep water on...
The hostel is decorated super awesomely...the staff are amazing (they let us backup our photos using their personal computer for like an hour)...the rooms are tidy and washrooms were always clean. The movie room and lobby area are so cool and breakfast was amazing. Only downside was lack of kitchen facilities really.
The staff let us cook a pizza in their oven which was amazing. Our room was an entire dorm to ourself since we booked a private room, which was pretty cool to have all that space and our own washroom/shower in it. Parking under surveillance was very key. The computer worked perfectly...overall excellent hostel!
The hostel was really big and had a separate room for keeping backpacks and luggage that was monitored by security camera and you could look up yourself. They were big enough to fit both mine and my boyfriends huge backpacks. One staff didn't warn us to park in a garage and our window was smashed so that wasted our second day (the woman the next day said its a rough neighbourhood and everyone parks inside). But it was a pretty good hostel with good kitchen facilities and a decent breakfast.
Very clean, a lot of space, cool layout, cool art and photos everywhere... Chris at reception was extremely friendly, showing us where to go out at night and making us feel extremely welcomed from the second we got there (giving us a grand tour of the place and introducing us to other people) right up until we left (telling us other great places we should travel to on our Eurotrip with great advice). There was also a local from Belfast that drove us to the bars, and Olly was also great!
Loved the kitchen facilities, we had our own double room so security was excellent, location was a bit far from the city centre but still within walking distance. The hostel had a lot of cool decorations and was really clean. The atmosphere was really fun but quieter at night (perfect)!
The major downfall of this hostel was that they didn't have personal lockers in the room to store your bags, so you had to risk leaving all your personals out for anyone to touch on your bed. They did have a safe at the receptionist desk to leave your personals but this closed at 10:30PM so it didn't really give easy access to things you wanted at any time. Other than that, the showers were a little gross but the rest of the hostel was really chill and had a great vibe.
The staff were great in letting us use the computer to back up our photos to the harddrive without paying the 1 pound fee for using computer for internet. We didn't like not having lockers in our room and having to leave our stuff in the safe with the receptionist which closed at 10:30. Showers were kind of pretty gross.
We thought the location was absolutely amazing and loved that it was right across the street from the castle. Some of the staff weren't too friendly or didn't take the time to help us out with getting around the city and which sights to see. The atmosphere was amazing with a bunch of rooms for hanging out/eating, and the bedroom itself was huge with a locker underneath the bed. It was also great that you needed to get through the front gate with staff to get in so not anybody could walk through.
This is basically like a hotel. The room was huge and clean, with it's own TV and ipod dock. We had a separate bathroom that was also huge. VERY great value for the money.
The staff are absolutely amazing. They go out of their way to tell you the best places to visit, to make you feel at home, and they genuinely are about you there. The free soft drinks and cheap beers available in the main area is soooo amazing, and the rooms are nice and clean. Honestly can't stress how amazing the staff are, especially Bobby and Olly! Thanks for making our three nights there super amazing :)
The doors aren\'t locked at night but the city is supposedly pretty safe. Dogs start barking at night but you can\'t hear that with the fans on and windows shut. It\'s literally just a room, no chill area, no kitchen (although we could leave our milk in their fridge). It was really clean and there was unlimited hot water yay haha. Rooms are very spacious too so I would stay there again in La Fortuna but it is pretty far from the activities on the volcano (8km walk...we did it !)
All the walls are painted crazy, super clean, great bar upstairs with great cheap food and drinks, easy to meet people and use computers...best hostel Ive ever stayed in. Going back for another night before we head back home and are looking forward to it!! The guys are also super friendly and it\'s really easy to book tours and get picked up right from the door.
It was pretty cold in the rooms we were staying in...actually it was freezing so we had to move into the other rooms near us!! But other than that, we had a blast and the place was great. We had the building to ourselves for a night!
