Good hostel. Quite large and spacious with multiple common areas to hang out in. Rooms were pretty standard, the lockers could be a bit larger but they were ok. Great location - only 5 mins walk to the beach and all the restaurants, cafes, and bars. Nice chilled bar with two hours of happy hour each night and games and quizes. Managed to get decent sleeps as there's air-con in the room and staff were pretty good at letting everyone know to keep the noise down at night.

Booked 2 nights, stayed 8. Great place, great people (staff & guests). Can easily socialise or relax here. Huge flatscreen tv to watch movies on, good location, comfortable beds, can purchase beers, soft drinks, water, chips etc. from reception.

The facilities, location, and cleanliness were good.....but there was just no atmosphere. I saw about 3 other people while I was there....was a ghost town. Also, if your spanish isnt great you might struggle as they dont speak english.

Hi Thanks for your comment, and thanks for your rate. We always want to improve, so it is sure to work hard on the issue of speaking English. It would have been great that your stay would have been several days, so you would have a rating more representative of the hostel and the city. Hope you're enjoying your trip and visit us again to stay more than a day, and share with you the great and important things in the city. Jairo C (Administrator)

Party hostel that looks like a resort. Such a good setup....decent sized rooms, massive pool area, bar, right next to the beach. The staff are wicked. Only downside is if you DONT want to have a raging party it can be noisy as hell.

Amazing outdoor area with big pool and huge grassy area + tables. Good indoor hangout area too. Found the rooms to be substandard and noisy. For the love of god avoid the 12-bed dorm. Barely got any sleep in there, even when I was drunk. Its incredibly noisy and light bursts through the windows to ensure you wake up well before you're ready too

Really nice hostel, very helpful staff, good character and location, decent bar and hangout areas - would recommend. The location is decent.....however just a word of caution, a few people in the hostel got mugged in the area late at night. Dont let this put you off, just keep your wits about you and dont take valuables out with you at night.

Decent hostel, good location, enjoyed my time here, the upstairs hangout areas are really good. However, my room was super noisy as its right next to reception area & hallway so was woken up each morning. Theres only one shower for the whole hostel. You have to wait for a staff member to let you in or out of the hostel....an automatic door would be much more effective. Also, it can be difficult to find as there is no sign outside. Make sure you know the exact address.

Poor hostel, wouldnt recommend to friends. Cancelled my last 2 nights after first night. Ive stayed in a lot of hostels before, good and bad ones. I found it lacked any character, it felt like an old abandoned hospital. My bedroom door didnt lock and the windows didnt close. It was relly dark throughout the hostel and I didnt find the staff all that helpful for information, and often waiting 5 mins or more for the front door to be opened. Some much better hostels in BA for the same price.

PROS: One of the better hostels I've stayed at. Lots of people, lots of organised events to go to, friendly and helpful staff, good location, spacious rooms......CONS: Was mainly just Aussies, kiwis and Brits when I was there, average age was quite young probably 22.

Really enjooyed my stay here, and obviously the breakfast is one of the best. Feels like you´re in a family home. The downside was it was roasting hot in the rooms. I think they are installing air con though.

Nice hostel, good air con in the rooms and comfortable beds. The top bunk is pretty damn high and close to the ceiling, easy to smash your head. Wasnt much floor space for bags.´ Staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall, pretty happy with the hostel. Not a lot of options in New York GOOD: - really spacious, air-conditioned rooms - free breakfast - free BBQ few times a week - big, social outdoor area - good kitchen BAD: - super expensive (have to pay tax on top of advertised price once you get there) - breakfast 6am - 9am ... good luck waking up by 9am if you're out on the booze the night before
