I have stayed here before as it was so good but this time as they were renovating their bar there were a lot of things that weren't included this time round such as dinner, free breakfast or somewhere to hang and meet fellow travellers. So until it is completed it is hard to socialise and have somewhere to chill. Otherwise the room are nice, spacious & clean with good bunks

This hostel is conveniently located within the going out district of Taksim so it's easy to get to the bars and clubs. It's also right in the middle of the massive hill so you are always trekking and getting a good workout as this hill is steep! The hostel was a little pokey, breakfast pretty average and with a hospital across the road and mosque next door it can get noisy. It's fine for somewhere to stay in Istanbul if you want to stay in the Taksim area.

This hostel is good if you're looking for a bed for the night but that's around it. It's just outside of the old town and the instructions from the bus station were a little misleading depending on which road you come out on. So good for a bed but not much else, had to ask the staff for a map, they didn't offer any advice or make any attempt to make me feel welcome.

This hostel was pretty good, was social without being over the top but anyone can basically walk in and into the rooms so security wise it's not the best. Bunk beds were pretty small, if you're on the bottom bunk you will probably bang your head a few times they are pretty low. Overall it was a good hostel but not awesome.

Wombats City Hostel Budapest

This hostel had no character or vibe. The staff were not very helpful & did the bare minimum, going above & beyond or even smiling was too hard for them! It was hard to meet other travellers as everyone was either in a group or just not interested in talking so it's not a good place to meet people if you are traveling alone. It has more of a hotel feel then a hostel. The only good thing about this hostel was that it was clean & it's location. Very disappointing experience!

This hostel is amazing if you want to meet other people, have fun nights and see the nightlife of Budapest. The hostel itself didn't have the best facilities, a little dirty and grungy but it's the people & staff that make this place wicked!

Goodnight Lisbon Hostel

The staff were really friendly and helpful, the place is nice and modern only thing is that i had a room with 6 guys who were just partying until the early hours of the morning so found it be a nuisance but you can't pick your room mates! Being the only girl though i felt a little threatened. Otherwise nice place to stay.

What a great little place to stay. The guy running the place was very accommodating, letting us leave our bags there and letting us back in. It's in a great location by the old town and in easy walking distance to everything. Really nice room, would stay here again but not the kind of place to meet people.

Garnish House

A great little B & B just a few minutes drive out of Cork, so if you don't have a car would be a little harder to get to. Gorgeous rooms, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The breakfast was amazing, cooking you whatever you liked along with helping yourself to the normal buffet. Great little place to stay.

The Court Hostel

London, England

This hostel was very basic, if you need a bed that's fine but not to socialise and it's an old & dated facility. The day staff weren't helpful, the night staff got me out of bed to fix a bill twice - one at 11:45pm. I was not happy with their service and would not stay here again.

Brussels Hello Hostel

Worst hostel i have ever stayed at! As a single female traveller i did not feel safe in the area, a 10 min train ride from the city centre, it seemed like a shady area. The hostel itself had a toilet that didnt flush, no toilet paper in any of the toilets in the morning, a shower that hadnt been cleaned in a few days & a kitchen with barely anything in it. The hallway stunk of cigarettes the room felt like a prison, very minimal & you were locked in. It was so bad i changed hostels

This was a funky little hostel as you felt like you were staying at a mate's place. It was quiet but i guess it was the time of year i was there. David was helpful with providing maps and advice on the area plus was in a good location. Would stay here again

Las Musas Hostel

It was a shame they close the lounge & dining room at 1am so there is no communal space after this time. You're either forced to bed, chill in the dorm and bother others trying to sleep or go out. Otherwise it's alright.

Lisbon Lounge Hostel

The is an awesome hostel! Great location & close to everything. It's a modern facility so very comfortable. The best things would have to be the dinners, getting dinner cooked for you and sitting around the table with people from over the world. Then going out afterwards if you're up for it. Would definetly stay here again.
