Excellent place to stay in Istanbul! We were offered apple tea upon arrival and a great breakfast every morning. In walking distance to everything you would want to see. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free walking your with Memo was awesome. Great atomsphere and place to meet other travelers. Hostel staff even arranged for a 3am ride to the airport at a reasonable price.

Helter Skelter Hostel

Love this place! Was originally only supposed to stay 2 nights and it's looking more like 5 or 6. Huge common area, decent kitchen, amazing location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It can get a little loud here, but that's normal for something so central. Great place to meet people to explore Berlin with. Will definitely stay here again... if I ever leave!

Ok location, run down facilities, but you get what you pay for. Staff was very unhelpful, even with something as simple as asking for directions.

Not much going on here, mostly a hotel with older people staying at it. Beautiful facilities and very relaxed if you're looking to see Dresden and take a break between Berlin & Prague.

Univa Hostel

Uni dorm room. I felt like a zombie film was about to be filmed in this location, but it was great to have a private room at such a cheap price for a few days on a very long trip. Very run down, not regularly cleaned, but again, a private for 8 euros a night, your standards have to be pretty low!

Interflat Hostel & Apartments

Budapest, Hungary

This place had fairly nice facilities, but it was incredibly hot and they would not let you open the windows in the dorm... saying that there was air conditioning. BUT, you couldn't keep the door to the dorm open and there was only air con in reception.. so basically the staff were nice and comfortable but no one else was. Staff was also not very helpful and rude. Good location in Budapest though, but I switched after my first two nights because I couldn't even sleep.

Villa Banana

This place was a family run hostel out or there house - but it was great! After coming on an overnight ferry, the pick up and unexpected breakfast snack was excellent. The family is very friendly and helpful and will help you with whatever information you need! Good facilities, very clean, and the small dorm rooms were a nice change.

More like a hotel, but had everything you needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful with anything you needed. Had a bar downstairs, but could have used a common area that wasn't so loud to meet people. No kitchen facilities was definitely a drawback.

LOVED this place! Very central, chilled by the pool all day, and steps away from most of the bars/clubs/food & a market. Staff was very fun & friendly, and the facilities were cleaned regularly and very nice. Definitely staying here again next time I'm in Ios! A/C was very strong, definitely a must in those temperatures.

Normal facilities, could have used a kitchen. Great outdoor patio, was awesome for meeting people. Pick up/Drop off was great because the public transit it scarce. Reception wasn't always open, but if you specify your time they will come and open it for you!

Location was a little bit out of the way, but easy to access by public transit. Facilities were good, except our dorm door was broken which was very frustrating. Most of the staff was very nice and friendly, but the morning receptionist hadn't told me I had to leave my key when I left, so when I returned the day guy yelled at me about it. It was a little strange how angry he was at me even though I didn't know.

Stayed in the cabin dorm which was cool in a campground. Great place if you're looking to get away from rome for a few days. Right next to the beach, great facilities, lots of trees to read under. Ended up coming back and pitching a tent a week later when I returned to rome! On-site market was very handy!

Loved this place in the middle of Tuscany. Great escape spot, beautiful Italian town with great sites. Loved the large grounds and historic building. Definitely one of my fav spots in Italy. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful, and provided free pick up and drop off to the train station.

This spot was under renovations, but it wasn't too difficult, except for the lock out. Great people, and they let us use the common room which was still under reno's to hang out in. The staff was... strange.. definitely not what I'm used to at a normal hostel. The lock-out sucked after a night of partying, but I imagine this will stop when the reno's are over. I'm sure this place will be incredible when it's done. Steps away from the duomo and other sites.

Very large, pretty empty hostel. Good in transit to check out the tower. Don't really need more than one night here. Staff was very helpful and the hostel had everything you needed. Ended up with my own room for the night which was nice. Very close to the train station, airport, and all the sites.

Amazing location, great free tours pick you up at the hostel. Facilities were clean and provided everything you needed. The staff was a little rude, and some of the people staying there made very inappropriate gestures.. but that can happen anywhere. Very young crowd, in large groups, difficult to meet people.
