This place is great. The staff are some of the best people you will ever meet. They'll sort out anything you need, no worries. Rooms are neat and clean, facilities all work (the shower was great), the price is spot on and it's not too far from anything. I will definitely be staying here again when I'm next in Cairo.

Nicely placed in the Old Quarter and within walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ho Chi Minh's tomb. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Still a hotel though, which makes it nigh on impossible to meet people. Not good for lone travelers. Almost no atmosphere. Security in the dorm is appalling. The lockers do not lock; the room does not lock. Occasional cockroaches to be discovered. The incl. breakfast is simple, but good.
Nice enough place located right near a metro, internet cafes and all the fun stuff in Beijing. I didn't get to see any of the rooms as they were overbooked. The staff were nice enough to put me up in a hotel next door for the same rate as the hostel and were very apologetic. Food was standard hostel fare. Everything was very clean. Bar was overpriced and staff will put on their own DVDs in preference to what you want to watch. Staff speak good English and will go out of their way to help you.
Great hostel, very nicely located against the south city wall and a short walk from the Drum & Bell Tower and the Muslim Quarter. The hostel is built around three courtyards and is attached to a local bar which can be reached via a staircase. It is a great place to hang out at night. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Be very cautious booking online with these guys. They do not update their booking status regularly and you may end up (like I did) paying your deposit and booking fee just to find out later that they are already booked out. If you are going to stay here, I recommend you call first. I've given average scores for everything but I cannot tell you what this place may actually be like.
Great place with a very nice courtyard and a restaurant serving good food. Located between the Uni and city, it takes only a quick bus ride to get pretty much anywhere. Nice little bar next door and a few restaurants too. Rooms are small but nice and very clean. Staff are friendly and speak reasonably good English. Well worth staying at.
A very nice place with a great atmosphere. Very close to the West Lake but it is a bit far from shops and the like. One minor complaint; there are no individual lamps on the beds to read by. Great place overall.
