The strongest assets of this hostel are its owners and its location. The dorms are clean and comfortable. There is a locker provided for valuables, and the bathroom was always clean. The location could not be better. The first floor is a nice hang out area and the information given is pretty good. The only real place for improvement is the included breakfast which consists of toast or kellogs with milk.

GREAT location in the middle of backpacker area but on a quiet side alley. Owners are super nice. Beds in dorm are a bit squeaky so any movement is noted. Dorm is on the last floor so not for you if you are on crutches or the like. Lockers are a decent size to fit computers but not big enought for whole pack. 2 bathrooms for 8 beds so thats a good ratio.

Hue Backpackers Hostel

Hue hostel is a good hub for joining groups of travelers. It's not too noisy and its on a side street. I stayed on the all female dorms and that was fine. Big lockers and bathroom in dorm. Included breakfast is really just ok. Bedbugs apparently on some of the dorm beds so beware.

Hostal El Momento

Hostal El Momento has a GREAT location for walking around Granada. Dont miss the bike tour around las isletas which was a fun way to move around. The staff are SUPER nice and Zacarías is just about the best front desk person I met on my trip to Nicaragua. Never tried the food, but the communal kitchen worked great. I would just remove the "ambience" music from the common area and renew the movie collection :)

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thank you for comments on the hostel and Zacarias will be informed about your comments also. Regarding the bike tours we actually let guests know not to go along The Malacon as it can be dangerous. We do get comments on the music and so we do have a mixture throughout the day of ambient, salsa, 70's and some music videos. We do know about the movie collection and we are having a little problem about burning them as we actually have new movies. Thanks again,
