This hostel is one of the best I have ever stayed at! The best location in one of the best European cities. All of the staff are absolute legends and somehow manage to keep happy and cheerful despite some pretty challenging guests. To Ada and the rest - thank you! Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great time in Krakow!

Overall I thought this was a great hostel. There is a fun atmosphere and free dinner/breakfast which is of a good standard. My only criticism is of one of the members of "staff" there when I stayed - an arrogant guy who was overcharging people for arranging nights out in the clubbing district and barging into rooms like he owned the place. I can only assume that this guy was just some traveller that the hostel hired for a few weeks and it is a shame, as the rest of the staff are great.

The Yak, Playa del Carmen, Mexico

Enjoyed this hostel. It's right by the main drag in Playa del Carmen and usually has a crowd that like to party. Doubt if it's for the quiet types, but then most quiet types shouldn't be looking for a hostel in Playa. The daily happy hour from 8 until 9 (all you can drink for the equivalent of 3 or 4 dollars) is a particular highlight!

The Dreamer Hostel, Santa Marta, Colombia

A great hostel to unwind after a few days hiking. 5 minutes walk from a shopping centre and the main road with buses to Tayrona and beyond so a decent location, although far from the centre of Santa Marta. For me the main draws of the place are the staff (who are always ready to assist) and the atmosphere of the place. At weekends the hostel organises some pretty good nights out!

The place is basically a renovated house with dorms in, which gives it a nice homely feel. Own cooking facilities and good lounge to chill in. Bathrooms are amazing for the price. Best value in Manila i's say

Loved this place. Cozy warm rooms which are clean and well kept. Excellent staff who are always willing to advise you on what to see and will generally make your trip that little bit better. Bar is chilled out during the day and can get lively at night. One of the best hostels i've ever stayed in.
