It was well situated but lacking in facilities with only a microwave and no self catering kitchen. Bed was very creaky with a big dip in the mattress. Overall very well situated for all the attractions of Bath.
Many thanks for your comments. We will investigate the mattress and replace it if necessary. Most guests come for a few nights and eat out. Those that don't have a choice of two microwaves to use, with the use of plates and cutlery that they don't need to wash themselves. We also have a hot drinks machine that dispenses hot water for free, so if guest have on coffee, tea etc, it doesn't cost them anything, we leave sugar, milk, cups and stirrers out and usually a few tea bags as vending tea isn't that good.

A very tiny room with no window. Plus the shower was over the toilet. The lady that runs the hostel was very nice and friendly.

The lady that runs he hostel was lovely, always asking if we needed anything. Location was great right in the middle of the old town.

I would recommend this hostel, we booked a twin and got an apartment on the 4th floor with balcony. Breakfast was a good selection of cereal meats and cheese.

Great place to stay, just wish they had air con or a fan in the rooms as they were very hot and airless

This hostel was further out of Inverness than was expected. It was very over priced for the facilities there, no where to hang cloths, breakfast was self help from a cupboard from open packets of stale cereal, no juice or anything to put on toast. Towels only provided at an extra £1. youth hostels provide all above at half of the cost of this place. Would not recommend to anyone else.
We are very surprised to discover that this guest had not checked our location prior to booking, this is something that all travellers generally do. We feel that our prices are fair for this high quality accommodation. In respect of breakfasts, all cereals are fresh and bread, butter, jam and marmalade are provided and guests are free to eat as much as they wish.
