Hotel Brivio

Milan, Italy

Crazy extra tourist fee upon arrival (about 3euros per person per night). But otherwise nice large and clean room.

Hotel Le Village

Stuttgart, Germany

Great Place. Friendly staff. They added a forth bed to our three bed room, so we could stay all together. Breakfast is huge. However without car Stuttgart is quite hard to reach.

I guess Florentine Hostel is one of a Kind. The athmosphere is great. Eating Hummus for Breakfast on the rooftop while listening to all the Oldies like "Walking on Sunshine" just made it for us. After 22.30 the hostel get's really peaceful and quiet, since they are leaving every night for another pup. So they have the best of both worlds. Party for the partypeople and relaxed evenings for the others. Only one thing to claim: Sometimes you have to wait quite a bit for a bathroom.

Hush Hostel Moda

Istanbul, Turkey

Well the bathrooms are a bit strange. But besides that... I loved the Location in the middle of the Kadiköy part. A lot of bars Restaurants and nice Shops and the Prices are quite cheap as there are not a lot of Tourists in this area. The hostel offers a great breakfast and a lovely rooftop terass. And the female dorms are a huge plus!!!

Thessaloniki Studios Arabas

Thessaloniki, Greece

The staff is awesome. They help, explain, organize everything you need/want. The bed in the dorms are of different Quality. But as you can choose one just try them out.

Kotoni House

Gjirokaster, Albania

Just simply awesome. The location is perfect, the hosts are great and the breakfast is wonderful. One of the best hostels if stayed so far.

This place is just charming. It's not a five star Hotel. But a place where you can stay to relax and enjoy. The garden is wonderful and the owners are awesome. The lack of AC is a Little Problem. But if you just do it as the locals do... will say stay home and don't move during the hottest hours of the day, it works quite well. Although there are no directions it's not a problem to find it. Just go to the side of the river and ask someone. Many people seem to know it.

Hostel Albania

Tirana, Albania

The garden is lovely, the 12 bed doorm where I stayed is cool even without AC. There is however no quiet time. When I stayed there People kept on partying in the room until about 4 o'clock in the morning. The Internet works well. The staff was absolutely great in explaining everything you wanted to know. Breakfeast is included and is well worth eating. It could however be served already at 8o'clock as quite some people usually want to leave early.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Hi Linda, first thanx for the nice review...we usually start breakfast at 8:30 or 9:00 because we buy everything fresh on the market each day, for everyone who checck out early we prepare it the night before and put it in the fridge. Sorry if you left without :) . We have a nice private and 6 bed dorms that are more quiet but in a room with 12 people, even if it is as huge as ours, it is more noisy in the night. The big dorm is recommended by the Lonely Planet as the coolest dorm in Tirana.

Awesome hostel. A lot of space. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was good, and the wifi worked well.

Montenegro Hostel 4U

Kotor, Montenegro

The space in the dorms is horrible small... with ten people and ten big bags it was hard to reach the bed. The location however is awesome.

Hostel Dubrovnik Sunset

Dubrovnik, Croatia

If you are aware, that you book a hostel outside of Dubrovnik, you will find the location pretty awesome, the views are great. Be aware however that you can add at least 4 Euros to the room price, as the shuttle into the town is not for free. In addition 5 Euro for laundry is quite expensive. The internet didn't work at all on the first day on the second it worked down in the lobby but not in the rooms.

Hostel Dino

Mostar, Bosnia And Herzegovina

The hostel wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Internet isn't working at all. When we told it to the owner, she said she didn't believe us. There is no place to lock your valuables. The space between the beds is really really small. You're actually sleeping face to face with strangers. The bathroom could be cleaned more often and my clothes which I had two put on the floor due to a lack of space, had bugs in them the next day. Location is alright.

Pozitiv Hostel

Zagreb, Croatia

I really liked the rooms. Everything was absolutely lovely painted, decorated and clean. The Location is a Little bit outside but there are direct tram lines into the middle of the City, which run often. The bathroom is a big minus. There is one bathroom for ... maybe 15 People. As the shower and the toilet are in the same room, it happens that you have to wait fairly Long for either of the two. Another minus: the internet connection which was broken during the whole four days I've been there.

Students Residence

Ljubljana, Slovenia

Great Value for your Money. 6 bed dorm are actually three double rooms sharing one bathroom and one kitchen. It's really centrally located. However somewhat hard to find... (no signs or whatever). They have great Internet Connection. However there isn't much of athmosphere as it is a (former?) Student residence.. Overall a very good hostel.

St Christopher's Berlin

Berlin, Germany

We stayed in the 16-bed room and had a wonderful time there. Even there one has a lot of privacy due to for example curtains around the bed. The location is great. Just ten minutes walk from Alexanderplatz or 15 to the Berlin Dom etc. And finally I just love hostels which offer (good!!) breakfast included in the price.
