Rooms right next to common areas are bad: no curfew on noise (or consideration) so don't expect to sleep until around 2am when the last drunks leave - and then be woken again at 5am when the tour groups leave. Every door in the entire complex is also designed to slam rather than close. Virtually everything required a deposit at reception, including cutlery for kitchen & even blankets for beds. Virtually everyone is on some sort of tour so already has a "group" - no real mingling with others

Terrible. Attracts the sort of people who shouldn't be allowed in dorms: come in late at night turning lights on & talking, banging on doors for their friends to let them in because they forgot their key. Staff don't care & staff wouldn't (not couldn't) move me to another room. Better places in Munich

"Free wifi" only available in common room which is locked outside 7am-11pm. Very noisy: corner of 2 busy streets with more sirens continually through the night than I have heard anywhere, lots of school kids. Location only plus - better places in London

saw 3 separate arguments at front desk about money already paid which had mysteriously not been recorded & had to be repaid. everything about this place is cramped: rooms, bathrooms, breakfast area, kitchen. kind of place where nobody washes up after themselves, always dirty dishes in sink, no cutlery, nothing ever clean. need to lift their game. cheaper than alternatives though

surprisingly poor for such a big chain name. toilets not flushed - let alone cleaned - in 2 days despite daily "cleaning" of rooms. flush often broken & paper out & never replaced. high turnover so debris scattered around rooms that obviously came from guests from days ago & not removed because nobody is sure who it belongs to. seems to be the best options in glasgow anyway however, which is unfortunate

Great location & the only free laundry for use by guests I´ve ever seen in a hostel. Only lacked a common area to meet or have drinks

***BEDBUGS***. Although even so, poor. More of an apartment than a hostel, only 6 beds & no common area to meet others. No 24 hour reception so no-one to ask when toilet paper runs out etc. Further from city centre than other hostels although this isn't so far in Krakow. Staff was very nice but this isn't enough to outweigh the downsides. Better places for same money closer to town

Typical Lonely Planet "research" these days - better places closer to town for cheaper. Don't bother paying for the pub crawl, not worth it: just turn up downstairs at the time

OK I never bother with reviews but this place deserves one. Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Large, clean rooms, great facilities, TV/DVD's & table tennis downstairs, lots of free computers for internet. A bit outside Naples itself but closer to Pompeii if that's why you're there anyway
