Enjoyed our few days here. Only a ten minute walk into Stone Town centre and close to ferry terminal. Our double room was small but well furnished and en suite was good. Nice roof top terrace and breakfast was good, Wifi reception patchy.

Good budget accommodation with three basic meals included. Nice comfortable communal area to meet other travellers. Only one toilet and shower which wasn't a problem during our stay as it was the off season, but could be an issue if hostel fully booked. Is several kms out of town, but easy to catch dalla dallas from outside hostel.

Perfect place to stay if you need to be close to airport.. Directions to get there were excellent and easy to follow. We had a lovely big room with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. Kitchen is adequate to get own breakfast. Wifi free for one hour and works well, but if internet is important, best to check first as this may be changing.

Such a nice position in the game reserve, but the place needs a good up-grade. Very tired and grubby. Also, beware of making a booking through central reservations as they didn't pass our booking on to Sondzela. It didn't matter as they were not full, but could have been a problem. Office staff were lovely and helpful.

We only stayed one night, but our double room was clean and comfortable, though we happened to be here when it was freezing cold! Nice communal area but too many people smoking for us to enjoy. Good kitchen for self caterers and just a short drive to Cape Agulas. Would be a perfect place to stay in summer.

We enjoyed our stay here - nice lounge area to relax with fellow travellers and well equipped kitchen. Breakfast included and good. We walked from here to waterfront in 30mins. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. We stayed in a double room which was comfortable, but quite cold, though the owner did give us a heater when we asked.

Very small rooms but clean and comfortable. Free transfers to Vic Falls each day was good. Getting back we caught the local bus for 3 Kwacha each instead of paying $10 for a taxi. Thanks for the review. We are glad you found our rooms clean & comfortable, our kitchen adequate & our location good. Our Standard Suites are basic rooms but adequately equipped with ensuite bathroom, safe, mosquito nets, shelves etc. Size-wise our larger Deluxe Suites are just $15 more, which are ideal for guests who are planning longer stays with us. Yes, our wifi is available in the communal living space ie: bar area, activity office & upstairs in our lounge. Thanks again. Elissa GM

The main reason we chose this B&B was because it had kitchen listed under facilities. However, the kitchen was not for guests to use, so note to owners - please delete from facilities. We couldn't even use it to make a cup of tea when we wanted to! Location good as close to bus and train station and just a short bus ride to see valley of temples. Room was clean and spacious and breakfast was okay.

Great hostel with friendly staff. Good breakfast and dinner and a nice outdoor area. Just avoid the room next to outside steps if you want a good sleep as very noisy, plus it's where everyone smokes and the smoke wafts in the window! This hostel was in an idyllic area and the owners were the most welcoming and friendly we have met on this trip.. Our room was clean and spacious with lovely views up the valley. Bathroom was small but adequate and even had a vase of fresh flowers. The drive from Bran is over 7km of rough potholed road but this is currently under repair. The owners have a wealth of knowledge about the area and there are good hiking options close by. Breakfasts were excellent.

We were disappointed not to get the double room we booked and the owner made no effort to give us an explanation why! The meals that were cooked for us were delicious and the woman that cooked them was lovely. Our room was very noisy from road traffic so not the quiet, peaceful break we were hoping for. Also, there is no tourist information centre in the area so need to rely on the hostel owner for details of places to visit.
