Paid for a room with private bathroom but ended up having to shower in the common bathroom cause there was no hot water at all in the room!! We tried for 3 hours to get hot water but to no avail. Couldn't contact the staff cause her mobile was SWITCHED OFF despite leaving a sign at the reception asking us to contact her if we need to. The next morning, she was defensive and quick to dismiss our claims. and it was super obvious that she pressed some buttons to turn on the hot water then.
It's clean, has a very good shower and is a 10 min bus ride to the city. The bus stop is also very near the campsite. Although, there is hardly enough space in the room to put our luggages. Only one person could move around at one time. And the directions to the hostel needs to be improved! We had a hard time finding it as we arrived at midnight. The campsite is actually located down a narrow street off the main road but there was no signages or anything to indicate so it's easy to miss.
The host was super nice!! She will explain everything about Rome that you needed to know. We booked an ensuite private room for three and the room was clean and had facilities like hairdryer, wifi, towels, snacks, etc. They even provided handsoap in the bathroom. Location was very good. Very near the metro, trevi fountain, and within walkable distance to all the major attractions. Will definitely stay here again if I go back to Rome :)
It's a bit of a walk from the Tube station (at least 15 min) but it's clean and the staff are nice and helpful. Had to carry my luggage up the stairs but you learn to manage :)
