Best staff we met in our three month trip. Really care about helping getting us to the airport at the crack of dawn. Amazinf waffles in the morning and otherwise all good, clean and nice typical hostel setup, Nut the staff really made it.
As hostels in Moscow go this one is the crown. That being said hostels in Russian are quite different than those in europe. Excpect a great place to sleep, take a meal and ask for advice and info but not much more in atmosphere. Of course that is ok because really you have come to see the city :)
Staff was really friendly and helpful, we must have visited in low season because it was quite and we saw few tourists in the city. Good facilities and the free breakfast was amazing. Will drop in again when next we are in Beijing. Greets!
this budget hotel is super central directly on khosan road. big, nicely furnished rooms and a pool on the roof round it off well. If (like most people i met) you are only in bangkok for 2-3 days then this is a great central option.
very chic little boutique hostel...super clean, friendly staff. good place to stay when you have to spend a night or two in phuket town. this hostel is however a little on the expensive side. still the good nights sleep was worth it!
a decent hostel for a short stay in phuket, patong. 2 mins walk to bangla road and all the nightlife there and on the beach. the hostel is a bit small and somewhat hidden in a tiny alley behind a massage shop but the staff is friendly and for patong not too expensive...
Did not really enjoy this hostel, there is no atmosphere at all. the rooms are small and they charge you extra to change the sheets after a few days, only 2 single toilets/showers for the entire hostel and you have to go get a small piece of toilet paper at the reception. small lockers not in room. Pretty much nothing was impressive about this place and on top of that it was not really that cheap either.
modern hostel built on a grand scale with all the facilities one would expect in a top european hostel. The have two bars (one on the rooftop and the other in the basement) but somehow it isnt noisy in the comfortable dorm rooms, great place to stay when in krabi town.
This is a great party hostel to stay at for the full moon parties and other parties on Haat Rin beach. Run by David, a super friendly frenchman that fell in love with this island years back and has never left. The staff seem genuinlely interested to make sure you have a great and safe time on this party island. Thumbs up!
This hostel is run by Luigi in what seems a one-man show. He is super friendly and will help you with anything that you need. Cheepest private beds (or beds in general) on koh samui, great for a budget traveller. I would stay here again, only negative is that the shutters were closed and he was not there when I arrived or departed, obviously since he is the only one there he cant always be around. But if you are a chilled traveller and dont mind waiting a few minutes that is no prob. great food.
absolutely loved this place, a nice break from dormatory style backpacking to a great room with aircon and super clean and big. Just a few meters from the beach and a short walk to the nightlife and bars in Lamai. This resort is connected to a restaurant on the beach. The food here is ok but you could find better at the stalls on the main street. Would recommend if you want a place to chill and sleep properly in Thailand.
The hostel is very central, just 2 minutes walk from Khoa San road. Good hostel to meet people but not really a party hostel unless you take matters into your own hands. Modern and secure facilities, i would recommend this hostel for someone traveling to Bangkok for 2-3 days and wanting to stay central.
This is all in all not a bad place to stay. Value for money and in a great location just about 2 mins walk from the "needle" in double, ie O'Connell Street. On the otherhand I was not blown away, the staff was Ok but just that...not incredibly friendly or helpful (considering its Dublin and everyone is friendly :). All in all a decent place to saty for 1-2 nights if your looking for something on a budget and you want to be central, for longer stays I would personally try out another hostel.
This is not just a hostel, it is a legend. If you are going to Amsterdam I would stay nowhere else. The only warning I give you here is that this is a party hostel so you should be prepared for the odd drunk person causing a ruckus in the dorm. If you have a normal tolerance for that kind of thing this really is an amazing hostel and the staff really know what they are doing!
This is a lovely bohemian getaway hostel in a busy but charming tourist street just behind the Blue Mosque and within walking distance of most of the things you will want to see. We stayed in a private en suite which was great and reasonably afforable but the dorm rooms also looked great - the bunk beds have these sweet curtains that can be drawn closed. The owners and staff clearly put a lot of thought and love into this hostel...great place to stay. PS: Breakfast on the rooftop also great :)
In short if you are just looking for a place to crash in a truely great location than this hotel is the one for you. Do not expect anything special from the actual hotel, it is quite clean but the rooms are very small and the "en suite" was actually kinda built into the cuboard ;) A few minutes by foot from Victoria Station you will be hard pressed to find something this convinient in the same price range... Still..this is a great affordable and convienient option for short trips to London
Basically in the heart of Paris on a budget, the rooms are small... heck the whole building seems to have been split in to as many rooms as physically possible :) But not unusual for Paris... the small space that is. And for the rest it is all in order: friendly staff... a good location and for the centre of Paris not too pricey. If you are not planning to spend much time in your room and want something central then this is a good choice.
Considering it is Zermatt this is an affordable place to stay, close to the Paradise ski lift and a nice old-style chalet- Not a bad place to stay at all. Only negatives would be lack of facilities ..ie, bar, breakfast and some truely terrible staff. But if you do not care about that and just want a place to crash and catch some snowboading then this is a decent hostel.
Decent Hostel for a ski weekend and at a good price for Zermat. The staff seemed entirely unintrested to help you with anything but judging by all the other reviews for the hostel that say they same... for ages, and they still have not changed anything. But if your looking for something decent on a budget this place is quite alright. Just do not expect any kind of social atmosphere... you can find that at the bar across the road .. apre ski time :)
friendly staff, not easy to find but otherwise a good hostel to stay at for a couple of days

Sweet little spot, great pool, very affordable and everything you need nearby!
This is quite a traditional hostel, seperate dorms for guys and girls and there is a loosely enforced curfew. Great for short stays on a budget, a little hard to get to since it is on the island opposite the main section but this makes for a great view of st.marks from outside while you let your feet dangle over the peer and relx with a beer in hand;)
Excellent place to stay to experience rome, toni and her staff are simply amazing and will help you with anything you need. Beautyful garden, so a perfect spot to stay if you are in rome for more than a day or two and need a place to relax and rest your sore feet.
Amsolutely amazing beach! Definitely coming back...!
Central, ok hostel for short stays on a budget.
