Stayed here a total of 4 nights. Joy (owner) handles all staff functions singlehandedly. She is very helpful but somewhat overstretched (i.e., hard to find her during the day). There is a common area but you will not find a backpackers social experience here. Very pleasant stay if you are looking for something simple and quiet. Located 5minute walk from skytrain. FWIW: I have traveled 15 countries over last 5 years and stayed in accommodations ranging from $3 to $600 / night.

Stayed here a total of one week. One of my best customer service experiences. Staff (Kim, David) went above and beyond. Knowledgeable with recommendations tailored to your goals. Rooms clean, facilities good. Even shipped an item I left behind to Hoi An. Located in city center but quiet rooms. Friendly but not backpacker social atmosphere. Note: Tours overpriced (+30-50%) so shop around for a better deal if you have time. FWIW: I have traveled 15 countries over last 5 years and stayed in acco

Pleasant social atmosphere with clean (albeit simple) rooms and facilities. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable without being too pushy with tours. Location a little further out from the city hub but easily biked. No complaints, highly recommended. FWIW: I have traveled 15 countries over last 5 years and stayed in accommodations ranging from $3 to $600 / night.

This is the hostel to stay at in Luxor. Clean, quiet location, with excellent rooftop bar to meet other travellers. Staff go out of their way to help you. They do not push any tourist traps. Highly recommended. Compared notes with other travellers in the area and this was the cheapest and funnest.
