There wasn't much at the hostel itself and the staff seemed confused at times with the language. However the room was great and the hostel was in a great location with lots to see and do within walking distance.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the free washer was amazing.
Belinda, the hostel owner, was amazing. She met us at the bus station and walked us to the hostel, she helped us when we got lost hiking, found us a great restaurant, and even double checked the whether for an excersion that we had at 5:30 am and then cancelled it for us when it was raining. I would definitely recommend this hostel just for Belinda.
The hostel was very nice and very clean. However, the staff was a struggle. We had informed them that we would arrive at six in the morning. When we got there, we were told that there was no room and we would have to wait until noon. We were then told that we could spend that time in the attached restaurant, when we went up to the restaurant it was dark. When we came back and asked, we were told that the restaurant wouldn't open until eight and we could wait in the cold lobby.

Found the Hidden Garden Hostel at the end of a dirty, dark alley. The lobby was nice, but we received bad directions from the receptionists twice. The room itself was horrible. The walls were covered in mold and the room was so damp that the bedding and any clothes left out felt damp by the end of the day. We tried to leave the fan going to air out the room, but the staff would come in and turn it off. Why they were in a private room to see the fan going when they don't clean is a mystery.
