The staff at this hostel is excellent. I left my laptop on the bus to the hostel and they worked overtime to help me retrieve it. I thank all of them and will return. My favorite part of this hostel is their isolated pool and bar area. This area allows you to hangout to early morning without disturbing those who sleep. Great Hostel.
This is a good hostel in the heart of San Pedro, the college district of San Jose. There is nothing fancy about this hostel and it provides a good starting point for your journey in Costa Rica. The staff is very useful and can give you plenty of advice on how to get anywhere in Costa Rica or SJ. The dorm rooms are very spacious. The only downside is the outside noise but you are in a big city and have to expect that. Overall good place.
This is a huge hostel that really caters to the young backpacking community. It has all the amenities you could want. There is always going to be a party here and the location is excellent. The best part is there is a small market located across the street with good restaurants. There is also a grocery store next door. Not a hostel for older travelers looking for peace and quiet.
Hostel One is a great hostel located within a 5 minute walking distance to the train, Old Town and grocery store. The staff is super friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay. They offer a free dinner which as sit down and nice. It gives you the opportunity to meet people. I found the facilities nice and clean. This is a small hostel but they had all the latest equipment to include e-mail terminals. Great place to stay
Blind Eye hostel is located in the east village of Prague. It’s about a 25min walk from old town, the main tourist area. It’s located in an area frequented by locals for its bars and restaurants which are cheaper than in Old Town. There are two bars located across from the hostel and a Tiki Bar a block away which has a great crowd. T The staff at the hostel was very friendly. They bent over backwards the make sure I felt at home. They are always playing movies in the lobby and have a bar.
The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a good time. It's located within blocks of a few good restaurants, Pubs and ATM's in the heart of Thamel. They have two hotels which are right next to each other that offer a place to stay. They also have a roof top terrace and will plan any trip for you. The entrance is located on the building side down an alley and is on the 4th floor which can be confusing. Look for the small sign. Breakfast was great.
This is a nice and quite hostel in the middle of old town Cartagena. It's not a party hostel but a place to relax and enjoy.
RC Miguel Angel is located in the heart of Madrid and only a few hundred meters from the SOL metro stop. The trip from the airport to SOL takes approximately 40 minutes. It’s a basic hostel that has a few private rooms but mostly dorm style with 8-10 beds. The rooms are small so getting around when its full can be challenging. It’s also hard to locate since theirs is not a big sign. You have to look for the address and it’s on the 4th floor. This isn’t a hostel to come party at. The party is in dow
I have stayed in many hostels in my life and this place ROCKS!. The staff is great, the people are friendly and its designed for backpackers. The offer free breakfast, walking tours and plenty of advice. The rooms are clean and the bunk beds are sturdy. Wonderful place.

This is the place to stay and party. It's located on a beautiful island right on the beach. They have a beach bar that turns into a party at night. You will meet plenty of people from around the world. They have WiFi and a good game room. Nobody goes to sleep here until at least 2:00am. Enjoy. Had a blast!
This is a good hostel for a stay over in Cancun city for a day or two. It's 100yrds from the main bus terminal and easy to get around. There are a line of bars and a few local clubs a block away that are cheap. They have WiFi and the bathrooms are clean. There is also a good gathering place on the roof with a Jacuzzi.
This was a very good, small and clean hostel. The staf was very friendly and always welcomed me with a smile. There is an actual bar that made it easy to meet people. On Saturdays they have a buffet that was awesome. It's located close to a subway station that makes getting around very easy. In the mornings there is an food market outside which made breakfast a sinch. Overall a great place to stay. Take the free bike tour on Friday. There are also a few authentic Chinese restaurant near.
B&B Hostal Tradiciones is located in a nice neighborhood close to Mira Flores. It’s about a 10 minute walk to park Kennedy where all the action is. I enjoyed this location because it was quite and there’s a little park right next to it. The park is full of people running and walking their dogs in the morning and evening. There is also a grocery store and Laundromat located within a few blocks. A taxi ride anywhere in Mira Flores is about 3Sols. Make sure you negotiate a price before getting into a tax
This is a nice bed and breakfast hostel located about ten minute walk from Plaza de Armas or a .90 cent cab ride. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s also located a few minutes from the Cusco train station and the Cultural center where you can get tickets to Machu Picchu. There is free wireless internet and a few restaurants around the corner. They also have laundry service that’s very cheap. I enjoyed my time here and recommend it to anyone. A good place for couples.
This is a great hostel to stay at in between connection at the Lima Airport. It’s located a few miles from the airport in an industrial section of town. The staff is friendly and the environment inside the hostel is fun and colorful. Free internet and the breakfast was good. They made me a nice omelte with fresh fruit. Have the hostel arrange transportation for you since it's a little difficult to find.
This place is breath of fresh air in an otherwise crazy city. The staff is very friendly and will give you good advice on what to do, avoid and see while staying in Cairo. As a foreigner, getting around Cairo can be a little bit stressful but they will help you out. The hotel is a little hard to find but look for the 15 above the entrance. Don't let the run down entrance scare you away, the hotel is on the third floor and really nice. They have free wireless internet and that's a plus.
