What you would expect from a budget hotel. Location is really nice, specially if you happen to get a room with sea view. Didn't do a big research so cannot really tell if it's indeed a good value for the money for the area, but felt so. Breakfast price was pretty fair. Recommend it, specially given the convenience. As for the atmosphere, it feels like a place that has seem better days.

Having curtains, reading light and power outlet on each dorm bed is just awesome. Good breakfast (for a hostel, of course).

Clean and quiet. The only (but big) drawback I see is the disapponting breakfast. Definitely the worst I had in Peru. So meagre it's hard to call it a breakfast. Even the cheapest hostels I stayed beat this "B&B" in this item. Surprising for the price range of this place. I think the idea is to make you order the missing parts (e.g. scrambled eggs) at a cost. They should call it a "Bed & Snack", not "Bed & Breakfast".

There's effectively only one hot water shower for the entire hostel. And the hot water didn't work on my second night there. Do not use the island tours they sell (for 100 soles). It's better for all parts if you go independently. 30 soles for the boat ticket (Uros-Amantani-Taquile) + 30 to 40 for the bed+lunch+breakfast in Amantani ("full board" on your host family). It's way better to pay directly to your host family! Nice breakfast considering the price you pay for the night. Helpful staff

Good value for money. I recommend. The place looks great, but don't expect everything to be in perfect shape as it´s an old house. The staff is very helpful. The downsides are minor, IMHO, but here they are: - if you are on the ground floor you can hear every single step from the room above. - It's a rather steep uphill walk to get there. - You can use the kitchen (big plus for me) but don't expect much from it.

Very clean and quiet. Nice breakfast. Maruja and Gilf are very helpful. On the downside, you have to take a colectivo to go to the city center. It´s definitely not within walking distance. It´s also a bit on the expensive side.

It lacks a bit on bathrooms. Only two for the whole hostel. They're clean though. Kitchen is small and basic, but sufficient. Staff was supernice and helpful, giving very useful tips on where to go, etc. Location couldn't have been better. Beds are new and clean. It doesn't have good noise isolation for the bedrooms, so if there's a rowdy group around you'll sure hear everything. Luckily people were quitet during my stay and I didn't have any such troubles. Not even a snorer! :)
