10 min walk to Coolsingel and city center, close to everything. Friendly staff. Breakfast consists in: bread, eggs, cereals, peanut butter, honey,. Free tea and coffee all day. Very clean. Although we were there for the Rotterdam Marathon and the hostel was full, we did not feel crowded and never stayed in line for toilets or shower.

Good location next to U-banh Station. Walking distance to Brandenburg gate, Checkpoint Charlie, Tiergarden and other tourist attractions. They have bikes for rental at affordable charges. Excellent breakfast with cereals, ham, boiled eggs, honey, variety of breads, cheeses, butter etc. Would recommend and definitely stay there again.

Broadway Hotel n Hostel

Located pretty far in Upper East Side, 2 blocks from subway station and 5 blocks from Central Park. To get to the most important tourist attractions you have to take the subway as walking to Downtown would take at least 2 hours. Windows are bolted shut with no possibility to open and let some fresh air in. Rooms are pretty dark, most of them facing the inner yard. They accept credit cards, and this is a plus. Very helpful and friendly staff though. Very clean but pretty dated hotel.

Best hostel we have ever stayed at in the US. Great location in Midtown Manhattan 2 blocks from the subway station. Very clean carpeted floors, bathrooms, rooms etc. Excelent breakfast: boiled eggs, bread, butter, dried fruits, fresh fruits, cereals etc and the best home made waffels prepared by Rafael every morning. Good free wifi signal in the rooms. If we return to NY on holiday, this will be our first and only choice!!:) This hostel will be for us a point of comparison for all future stays

Clean, very well managed hostel. Breakfast: cereals, milk, biscuits, butter, honey, jam, coffe, tea, all of the regular any hostel would offer. Location is close to the Main Station, therefore a bit shady, dirty and may seem unsecure. Stefano gave us good information about places to eat, what to do out in the city and how to stay safe and not get robbed. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would stay againg at the hostel if we would ever consider returning to Naples.

Very clean. Good breakfast with home made gem:) Great location in front of an old magnificent church. 10 min walk from Black Church. The walk gives you the opportunity to admire the buildings and little streets of old town. Very friendly and understanding staff. Silvia (the manager) has all the info you need regarding the city. She allowed us to store luggage and check-out late as we participated in a marathon and really needed to take a shower and change before hitting the road. Felt like home!

Excellent value for money. First hostel we ever stayed in that provides all meals for free. Great food (breakfast, lunch and dinner). It is mainly a party hostel, organizing Pub crawls every night, cheaper for group discounts. Free beer keg or drinks to start the evening from now and than. Nevertheless, if you are not looking just for white nights, soundproofing is good and you can get a good night sleep. We would definitely stay again. Direct bus from airport, direct bus to anyplace in Miami.

My review is actually for Dakota Hotel as they checked us in there because we booked a double room. The neighborhood of Union Sq towards Tenderloin is a bit shady, lots of homeless people asking for money etc (harmless though). We only stayed there for one night so I can not tell much about the hotel, except for the helpful staff and good breakfast. We spent 4 nights in another hostel in Form Mason and I would highly recommend it, as most of the attractions are closer to the bay area.

5Good location, close to Fisherman's Wharf. We managed to walk to most of attractions. Fisherman's Wharf (5min), Pier 33 (Alcatraz)(15min), Lombard St (10 min), Coit Tower (40 min), Chinatown (60min). Take the bike to Golden Gate. Poor breakfast. For 40usd per person per night, one could expect to get more then one fruit and one bagel OR two waffels. Anyway, it keeps you going for a few hours. Good thing there is a Safeway at 5 min walking distance. All in all, would stay there again

City Backpackers Hostel

Great location. You can pretty much reach any of the tourist attractions by walking (between 5 min to city hall to 40 min to Djugarden). As there is no breakfast included, a good thing is that the kitchen is provided with many fridges (one for every 3 rooms). That came in helpful as we had the cool space to store our groceries. Another great thing is the bike rental facility. Biking in Stockholm makes it easier to reach the tourist attractions and more efficient to see and feel the city. Would stay ther

Using the City Bikes is a good tip! And I totally agree with you about biking in Stockholm. What I don't understand is what did you need the chain for? The City Bikes works so that you always leave them in a City Bike bike stand, you don't just lock them anywhere. And there's a good reason for it - Swedes steal bikes like there's no tomorrow! That's also the reason we don't rent out our bikes for the whole day. Last summer we did, and lost three bikes. It's not that our guests steal them, but no matter how carefully you lock a bike in this city, if you leave it out of sight for three hours, while going to a museum for example, it will be gone by the time you return. It's sad, but true, I just lost my favourite bike a couple of weeks ago... Kindly Lena

St Christopher's Village

Had a great stay at St Christopher’s Hostel. Although the pub downstairs keeps open and loud until morning, the building has good soundproof doors/walls. We stayed on the second floor and it was very quiet. (I don’t know if one can hear the loud music if the room is on the 1st floor right above the pub). Bathroom and shower cabins are being cleaned twice a day, so no complaints there :). Would stay there again.

Great hostel having the best staff and conveniently located very close to all tourist attractions. Igor from front desk makes the best Turkish coffee I ever had:). We are planning to visit Belgrade again sometime this year and we'll definitely stay there again. We highly recommend it to everyone travelling to Belgrade.
