Fantastic location, super close to the beach. Staff here are friendly and helpful. It was quiet whioke I was there so not social if that's what you're after. Although the facilities are older, staff really work hard to keep it clean. The coffee with breakfast is strong, so I really appreciated that.

Great location, friendly staff. I really appreciated being able to have breakfast before an early flight. Bath is a bit gross, one of the shower drains is really blocked. As usual lots of young backpackers with no consideration for others so I didn't sleep great, but the beds are comfy at least!

Great staff. Wifi and free basic breakfast were a fantastic perk. It's a bit rundown, but to be expected for the price.

Fantastic place to stay. Near the beach, easy to get to via public transport. Lots of food options around. The staff were lovely and let me drop off stuff after an early morning flight. It's really quiet and clean. The sort of place you would recommend to friends. You've done Radelaide proud :)

Quiet and clean, close to city centre. There weren't many people around, but Invercargill is still pretty cold at this time of year.

The lady who checked me in was lovely. No atmosphere if you're wanting to meet people and charging extra for toast seemed ridiculous, but very comfortable room, clean bathrooms and very secure. I would stay here again.

Friendly staff, offered helpful advice. The place is very hard to find if you can't read cyrillic, the sign outside is tiny. Bathroomand oddly set out, prepare to cop an eyeful of your fellow hostel residents. Lots of long term residents living here. Free WiFi is great and it is close to that metro and supermarkets.

I first stayed here four years ago. The prices are RIDICULOUS for what the hostel offers. I got better value for money in my own room in london. Free breakfast is good but WiFi is only only the ground floor. The lift is old so if you're on the top floors, carrying your bag is a bit of a work out. This place seemed to fill up with party goers from the UK on the weekend so I had no sleep before catching an early flight.

Staff here are helpful and knowledgeable. Beds are comfortable and your own charge plugs is always great. Kitchen facilities are good, though the smell from the recycling is less than pleasant. Showers were tiny which as a tall person makes getting clean an acrobatic performance.

The free breakfast is great, especially croissants. Easy to find and staff are helpful. Free WiFi is always helpful, though hi you need to keep logging on. Only bad thing was the shower cubicle was small and the bathroom itself smelt mouldy, especially the shower curtain.

staff were friendly and helpful. particularly appreciated when checking in late at night. the ensuite was pretty clean and the facilities are great. i was in a room away from the bar, so not too noisy. only complaint was inconsiderate roommates; drinking in the room, turning on all lights and in and out noisily at 3am. perhaps a few rooms could be specifically set aside for those who aren't cool enough to party all night? ;)

friendly staff and fellow hostel dwellers, cleaned pretty regularly (smell of bleach gave that away). my only gripe is the bed was really uncomfortable, sank really bad in the middle. i had to go to a chiropractor to be able to walk again.

Thank you very much for the feedback. We have inspected the bed in question and have replaced it with a new one. Have a wonderful festive season, hopefully we will see you again. (In the new bed no doubt ;)

really friendly staff and fellow hostel residents, great place to chill out. it's really hard to find though, most people say their taxi driver gets lost even with the map.

really clean, staff are fantastic. it's quite a big hostel and most of the guests are quite young, so obviously there's a lot of partying! people are friendly though and it's in a great spot.

reception staff were fantastic. air con could be a bit stronger, but i did arrive in a heatwave, so i guess its better than nothing! some really odd older long term residents and i got bitten by bedbugs are my only issues. otherwise, great location and great to meet people.

very clean hostel, staff are friendly and helpful. probably a tad too expensive for what it is and not really a sociable place, but overall, i would recommend it.

I got eaten alive by the wildlife in the furniture, most people that stay are kinda weird or anti social. But the location is brilliant and I found the staff very friendly. Pretty good considering the price!
