Good social hotel. With internet, pool table, bar, tvs and outdoor area, you dont even need to leave the hostel to have a good time in Lima.
Kevin is the most warm and welcoming hostel owner I have ever encountered The rooms and bathrooms are always clean, as are the sheets and towels Minifridge in room, free drinking water, bananas and internet.
I havestayed at hostels. This place had the best "vibe" Ive ever enjoyed at a hostel. There is even a seperate after 11:30 area to chill in, so people can party all night wihtout disturbing those who wanted to sleep.
The staff is the most knowledgeable and informative staff you will run across, they provide city maps and review all the points of interest with you when you check in. They also have filtered water, which saved me a lot of money on bottled water
I found the staff extrememly helpful with advice, directions and helping out to find services. The location was walking distance to Sugar Loaf Mountain, and a cheap cab ride or easy bus and metro access to the main beaches and other attractions The breakfast was nice The rooms were divided into two sections of the hostel, so as many people that stayed there I thought it lacked a good social scene. Despite a large common area with tv, music, tables and kitchen use Internet is for a charge
Good = Great social aspect. common room & tables outside, large breakfast selection, and free drinks for an hour in the evenings. Very near the happening area of Pelhourinho, and walking distance to the busses Bad = Guests were told they werent allowed to use the pool while I was there, then why have a pool?
You couldnt wake up to a more beautiful morning, sit out, eat your free breakfast, and look at gorgeous scenery in all directions. The showers had hot water, there was internet, tv room and movies, and hammocks. Also a very nice kitchen. It is a short, and safe walk to town, a longer walk to the plantations, but a jeep comes by everyhour at a reasonable taxi rate. TV in bedroom used plug that would not work in outlets, no converter available. Shouldnt be advertised as feature of my room

Good - price, as cheap as you can find. Even though its 15km outside Dubai, its only a 20 minute walk to bus stop and only a $7AED cost to Dubai or $25AED to Abu Dhabi. The guy who worked the morning was very nice and helpful Bad - it took complaints after the first AND third shower before I stopped getting frezzing showers. The night clerk gave me half a phone message, and the part he left out cost me 2.5 hours of time and money. Airport transfer returning to the airport, in a smelly car
Good - location was easy to find with directions from New Delhi train station. Hot water during every shower (a rarity in INdia). Lowest price in Delhi Bad - I didnt feel welcomed when I came in, and felt I was being asked many questions that were not their business
Good - location was only a 10 minute walk from the old city price was very affordable Bad - despite promise of hot showers, got that only half the time. tours provided at hostel turned out to be extremely overpriced. not too much of a social atmoshpere
good - plenty of available internets, close to Khoa San Road, reasonable priced bad - tour prices overpriced this was actually a repeat stay at this hostel, so it was good enough to bring me back
good - location. good common area, with dvds available to watch. 5 computers with internet available for usage. allow early and late check ins to store luggage and hang out bad - prices of tours are overpriced and not clear about real costs. when other fees are expected to be paid on the tours, that is not explained at time of purchase. when i bought a bus ticket on the street because it was 200B cheaper, they told me it was an unsafer bus where people will go through my things- untrue
First of all bus from airport is $2, not $1.75 as hostelworld says (I had exact change). Hostel is about 8 blocks from the Freemont Experience, and buses are very accessible. The lockers in the room were big. Provides 24 security, kitchen, pancakes for breakfast, pool table (although a bad surface), internet (for a fee), and there is a pool. I used there shuttle service for a ride to the airport. The shuttle service didnt pick me up, and the taxi cost me over $30, as opposed to the 9.
The location is tough. I went walking around at night, and could not find my way back because there are no street signs. But I guess that would be the case for anywhere. Be careful. I was told walking at night would be unsafe, but I never felt I was in danger. The man at the desk was very friendly and helpful.
best cheap hostel in copenhagen. you are a 20 to 30 minute ride away from the city itself. walking distrance from airport
near train station, good common area, lockers in room. the girl checking me in, might have the prettiest face in the history of humanity
good room, good common area, internet at a fee, a little far location from the major sites
the best staff ive ever had at a hostel. showers sometimes backed up to a long wait
location was great, could walk anywhere in 15 minutes. price was cheap, showers were good, 24 hour access. lounge area where fellow backpackers hung out. highly recommend
location is near metro to get anywhere. the guy who works the night is awesome. the price is great for what you get. the negatives were that the rooms were hot and muggy, there was a blanket but no sheet. and the showers were small, and there was little chance of not soaking the whole bathroom floor
location was the bigget plus, walking distance from train station, walking distance to colliseum. it was on the top floor so a lot of stairs to get there. the biggest negative was that the communal showers had very little water pressure
