We arranged transportation from the hostel, our flight ended up being delayed 4 hours and no one was there at 12 am, even though they had our flight number and could have just checked. We ended up taking a taxi (there were only a few and refusing meters) to find the hotel locked. The next day the staff blamed us for being late. We also found the place not worth the cost b/c you must pay for everything (breakfast, pick up, maps, tours fees, etc) all stuff that would be free elsewhere.
Great hostel, everything you need. The only issue could be that there is no lounge/sitting area, so if you are looking for that you might not like it.
Wonderful hostel, beautiful, clean etc. Staff is very nice and helpful. about 15 minute walk from bar street but not bad and only 1 USD by tuktuk (which the hostel can help you get). Definitely recommend!
Hostel had a terrible location. We originally chose it bc said it was near the boxing stadium, but apparently that stadium closed several months ago and is now an hour from the hostel. As for other areas, like the backpacker area, thats about an 80 btaxi ride away (not possible to walk) of course thats only IF you can get a meter taxi (most wont). Its not near ANY food places except 7-11, which everyone was eating at from the hostel. ALSO, you cant bring in beer (hostel beer is 3xprice)
everything was good.
Staff is really helpful and love to chat. They also have traveled to other areas of Thailand and give great advice. The location is great! You walk out and there are TONS of bars, restaurants, and spas. There is also a local market nearby for foods and small gifts.
Average hostel. About 10-15 minute walk from the main street (night market, restaurants etc.). Breakfast is okay (was a bug cooked into my bread but they probably just buy the bread). Staff was helpful and nice.
Staff was great, Neil was helpful in booking everything and very quick to reply to emails in advance. Hostel is a little off the path but this was expected and welcomed
A little confusing to find at first because there are two sihome hostels (cab took us to the wrong one) but you can walk to the other one (10 minutes) the only problem was that the staff at the first one didn't want to make the walk with us and just gave us directions so we were pretty lost. but the Laos people are so nice and helpful they guided us there.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. There are western toilets and the hot water was great! The location is in old town, a little from the square but not too noisy at night.
Annoying they didn't put us in the same room. We had 2 boys and 2 girls and they said they didn't have mixed dorms, but when we got there they had put 1 boy and 2 girls in a room and the other boy in another room. Then the second night they moved the girls out so there were 2 girls in a room, 1 boy in another and 1 boy in another for the next 2 nights.
