Homestay Bristol

Bristol, England

Very nice hostel, clean and with friendly staff. Great location in the heart of Bristol, walking distance from everything. Nice kitchen if you want to make your own food with breakfast food provided. I do think they should have lockers in the room - they put a big clothes hanger/cupboard in the room which no-one uses - why not put a 4 person locker there? Great hostel though - would recommend to anyone looking for affordable accommodation in Bristol.

This was a massive, very well equipped hostel. If you want to party hard or keep to yourself you can easily do both here. It doesn't have the small cosy atmosphere of smaller hostels, but that's not necessarily a bad thing if you're in a big group and need room or if your by yourself and you want to find a quiet corner to read or be by yourself. Staff were helpful and friendly, WIFI was everywhere, good kitchens, many bathrooms and showers. Well organised hostel.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The courtyard is amazing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Very clean hostel also, the deluxe rooms felt more like a hotel. The hostel puts on events every night and they also guide you to what you can do around the city. Highly recommend.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff. Located right next to the main bus station which is convenient. I would have appreciated being told how much having my washing was going to cost, considering I was happy to go to a coin laundry myself. It came to 36euros for a few t-shirts, socks and underwear - I wouldn't have gone ahead with the service if I knew it was going to be so expensive. Other than this it was a lovely hotel with beautiful marble interior. Very comfortable and pleasant.

Great hostel, great staff - they make you feel at home as soon as you get there. I was sad to leave :-( Plenty of social atmosphere, very clean, great showers. Beautiful balcony with many seats overlooking an old watertower, very nice in the afternoon and mornings. Highly recommend.

Great hostel if you want to get away from the busy lifestyle of Berlin. Has a good social vibe to, still great for meeting people. They have so many spare computers for internet use! They also have a "work/chill" room where you can loung around on beanbags or do work on proper desks. Very well equipped hostel. Best showers also! Great after a long day of walking around. Super friendly helpful staff who make you feel right at home.

Very friendly staff - happy to help you 24/7 with anything. A great hostel if you want to party each night, as you are right in the thick of it. The rooms are noisy from the partying on the street below all night - not a problem for most people but it should be mentioned. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
