Goodnight Lisbon Hostel

Lisbon, Portugal

Great staff. Great breakfast (best ive had in a hostel) and good soups/drinks in the evenings. Comfortable common area. The walk up four/five flights of stairs can get tiring but the rooms and bathrooms were clean. Can get noisy (thin walls-earplugs available) but otherwise had a good stay.

Thank you for a great stay in Lagos! We had a fantastic time. Can i just recommend waste bins in every room and maybe improved wifi accesd from the rooms? Otherwise the room was great with an unbeatable view.

Istanbul Hostel

Istanbul, Turkey

Fantastic staff, accommodated me when I was sick- let me sleep in well past check out in a spare bed, then helped by calling a taxi to get me to the airport as painlessly as possible. Very thankful/appreciative!

shower shoes necessary. nice view from the room. curtains around the bunks a great idea for privacy and light blockage.

Hotel Stars Bordeaux Gare

Bordeaux, France

Good for a train station hotel (walking distance from the train station and near a tram to get into the city). Day staff were friendly. Otherwise, a fairly average budget hotel.

Paraiso Travellers Hostel

Barcelona, Spain

Excellent staff and room (we had a room that let right out onto the terrace), clean bathrooms and good services. Only complaint was that wifi was a bit tempermental.

Las Musas Hostel

Madrid, Spain

Clean, comfortable hostel close to the metro.

Nuevo Suizo

Seville, Spain

We were only here for one night so we did not get to fully enjoy the hostel, but there is a nice terrace area on the top with hammocks and the wifi works throughout the hostel. Its in a good location with shops and restaurants near by, but it is a little hard to get to from the train station. Its walkable from the bus station, but the streets are a bit hard to navigate (especially with heavy bags!). Staff were friendly and informative.

Funky Cordoba

Cordoba, Spain

Very nice, clean, comfortable hostel. Can be a bit noisy at night if you are trying to sleep, but it's all outside noise (not from within the hostel). Wifi connection is a bit touch and go.

Hotel des Ambassadeurs

Toulouse, France

Very comfortable 2 star hotel, 2 minute walk from the train station and not far into the main city. We had a balcony off our room which was great for drying laundry. Staff were friendly. No complaints.

PLUS Camping Jolly

Venice, Italy

Its a campground and for a campground, its not too bad. The bathrooms could be cleaner or at least provide a mop and there could be toilet paper occassionally. Its fairly easy to get to by bus, but the shuttle they have is pretty overpriced and not frequent enough. Restaurant and store onsite are not worth it, eat and shop in town.

Goat Hostel

Budapest, Hungary

Absolutely fantastic! The staff were awesome, took the time to get to know you and helped with getting around Budapest. The coffee in the morning was extraordinary! Especially for a hostel seeing as there was no charge. ONLY complain/improvement was the room (6bed dorm) was really really hot the first night and a fan would be nice. Otherwise would definately recommend this hostel. Thanks for a great stay in Budapest!!

PLUS Prague

Prague, Czech Republic

Excellent staff, rooms clean, pool and bar were good too. A little ways out the city centre and a bit of a walk (15min) to the metro.

Berlin Boutique Hostel

Berlin, Germany

Rooms were clean and comfortable, but there were too few showers that were too unfrequently cleaned for the number of people staying. Staff were friendly, breakfast adequate, location very close to the underground.

CIS de Champagne

Reims, France

Excellent staff, rooms were small but clean. Overall a good experience.

Castle Rock Hostel

Edinburgh, Scotland

Had a great time, would definately recommend this hostel!

Very nice, accessible location with cheap drinks in the bar downstairs. Noise level was pretty controlled. Make sure you get in the shower first-shower shoes advised. Only complaint was at one point there were at least 11 people in a '9 bed' room.
